Is the smaller motor also shorter? The first revealed pictures of the motor options showed that one was shorter. A shorter motor or FUSELAGE would make for a different feel that might be preferred for lighter experienced riders. The tail extender should then make the smaller motor (shorter fuselage length) about the same length as the larger motor? Any thoughts or confirmation on these musings? Chris, I know you're a rep for waydoo, but I'd love your thoughts on this vs the flite air?

I am a little bit worried about buying an e-foil - because after trying it once - 2 sessions on a small beachside pond in Phuket - it seemed too easy. So not much to master. I am 60 YO. May be better to rent for 10 sessions, claim victory for competence, get some selfie videos... and move on. hmmm.... Its a bit like an electric one-wheel (looks impressive - but too easy).

What about the error message "Missing file" ... I just updated to brand new firmware but the buggy message is still there.

The connection between the remote control and the board was lost at sea, causing me to die. The board drifted and I lost it in the current. Waydoo admitted its mistake by saying that if you buy a new product, we will give you a discount. It is a reliable company that blames the user for every problem that occurs after sales and avoids responsibility.

What's the point of a speed test with the prop guard on? That's a massive amount of drag and increased current draw / lower top speed (a good 15-20% current draw penalty). That prop guard is the first thing to come off any efoil after the first 2 days of riding. It'll also increase the maneuverability and playfulness of the board too, and will decrease the liklihood of all your bails over the nose each time you slow down 😋
