In my opinion Ant is "I" Elephant = mind River = life Boat = enlightened being Vulture = scholers/priest/professor Eyelash/kajal = opinions/thoughts,/prejudice After beating elephant ant become guru

It can be taken in many ways, like what I perceived is like this, The functions of the body(boat) is sinkingwith time(river). The person who is in sansara wants to gather many things. So, the sansarik person(ant) is body conscious and is lost in maintaining its beauty (100kgs of kajal), and goes in this drowning sansar(canal). In order to prove he is the greatest he even crushed the impossible(elephant). The person thought whatever he does will last with him forever (thus kabir rhetorically said, the ant thinks his urine will cause floods). But, alas he died when it's time was over. His relatives took all his possessions (vultures feed up on ant), and still after doing so much for people, there were many who mocked him and had a bad mouth after his death since they weren't satisfied by what he did(few vultures still up in sky). Thus it may mean, we can't neither accumulate anything nor can we please everyone. Thus, only way to attain nirvana is that, a person must retreat frm world and focus on self. But, Kabir said this comes with Gurukripa and Ishtakripa❤️

I witnessed him throughout my childhood when he was coming door to door every week. But I never paid attention to what he was singing. Now after 20 years I saw him singing here on KZbin and I am unable to hold my tears 😭
