I Prefer This Ride over Test Track, Even Though I Still Love Test Track.

This SBS video is absolutely stunning! I especially love the tennis racket in the beginning - the 3D effect on that thing is incredible. Waldo - the spirit of 3D - looks cool too, and he really pops off the screen, especially when he sticks out his nose. Watch this on a 3D screen, and you feel as though you're really sitting in the Muppet theater at Walt Disney World!

I Have Been Hearing from so Many Disney Fans How They Miss Horizons! It is one of my Most Missed Disney Parks Attractions even though I Wasn't Born When This Ride was Around.

What would be awesome to have now would be a loop with all the different Horizons music together. Start with the entrance music, transition between the space and the mesa verde and any others and end with the exit tunnel music. I play this music all the time at school while my students are working! So good!

I miss the old Epcot Center. The imagineers wanted this attraction to be an educational experience about the history of transportation. They weren't trying to suck up. This was the park that wasn't about capitalizing on the most popular current trends. Future World was a science and history museum with a look toward the future. RIP Epcot :(

Well Guess What? What I See so Far is that the Old EPCOT Center is Partially Returning. The Seas Pavilion Brought Back its Original Color, the Original Music Loop for the Land Pavilion Returned, and Now, Test Track will Close this June and will Change into Something that will be Related to World of Motion.

2:00 Sounds like the motor for the rotating platters is still running but a belt has perished so it is no longer turning the platters.

This music is so transportive. It embodies everything about the space age, the pioneering spirit, the comforts of retrofuturism, the 60's and 70's technology horizon, the magic of travelling through the infinity of space, all in the ride when it opened in 1975. Maybe its slightly corny, but its incredibly nostalgic and resonant of a time gone by, a dream of humanity exploring the cosmos.

Never paying another cent to any part of the Disney corporation for gutting this ride for politically correct reasons. I don't want to give money to people who hate me.

I don’t think there has ever been an attraction that has captivated so many people. I’m lucky to have ridden Horizons at least a dozen times. The optimistic scenes of humanity in the future have followed me my whole life, and to this day I use that as a benchmark for the world I want to live in.

“Goodnight, sweetheart.” “Goodnight, mommy, I miss you.” “I miss you too.” Oh, my heart! That part never fails to make me cry! Even typing it down is making me all choked up! It just gets me in the feels every time I see, hear, or think about it! I’m tearing up right now just listening to this beautiful, yet bittersweet piece of music, because it just reminds me and probably everyone else on how much we deeply love our family and that we miss them while they are away. So, seeing that little girl and her mom talking to each other through those screens and saying how much they miss them always makes me want to bawl my eyes out. No matter how many times I listen to this, it still makes me emotional to this day and it probably always will.😢
