It is a fiber-reinforced plastic composite. 30% fiber and 70% plastic

@@alfredofaubel to bad it shut down. I have 1000 board feet I used for my deck. And some was burned and scorched from a fire and was hoping athyron was still in business. The boards I have were made in Brazil about 20 years ago. Was looking for more . I don't know why it put burned down. You remember me. I worked at BJs machine in Hull and built the cooling plates. And the saw arbor's.

Recycled plastic lumber is only for those with money to burn. 2 x 4 x 8ft in wood in Toronto is between $4.50 to $5 each. 2 x 4 x8ft recycled plastic is $25 each. And wood is much more environmentally friendly

I think Trex composite fencing really is a better choice than the wooden one. You may spend a little bit more during the start, but in the long run, you will be really saving more than your initial cost because it's easier to maintain and it lasts very very long. For example, my fence right now which www.trexfencingfds.com/why-trex/trex-vs-wood/ put up more than 3 years ago is still looking new! No pests, not damage, no deterioration of the panels!
