Last year Mississauga retired all the 2005/2006 MiWay and the TTC closed down the Scarborough RT Line that opened in March 1985 while this year the TTC retired all the OG Diesels from 2006/2007. The last OG Diesel from 2006 retired at the beginning of March of this year while the last OG Diesels from 2007 retired at the end of July of this year. As of right now, the buses that are from the 2000s are the OG and NG Hybrids. The OG Hybrids are expected to be all retired at the end of this year. Farewell MiWay 03s/05s/06s, TTC 7900s/8000s. These buses are only made to last for 17/18 years and after that, they will have to go out of service and once they go out of service the city will get newer ones.
