I just listened and watched you on the Cooksey show, loved you there and your mission with our Almighty Creator. Let me ask you a question, "have you ever read your Bible like you would a normal book, from beginning to the end?"

Most of these youngsters preaching the typical happy single message will not choose to be single. I can assure you that most people are not prepared for how difficult it is in this world to grow old without a spouse or family.

You have missed the point. Jesus is using that analogy saying anything that you use as an excuse to push him to the side is unacceptable. It’s not just about funerals.

This gives me hope to keep looking. After my engagement failed and she left me for another man. I was so lost. She's now married and it's only shortly after we broke up. I want this, what this video up here describes. I want this, and I'm praying to God for it every day. Maybe one day I'll be so lucky

Jesus did not only say to love thy neighbor. He also said I didn't come to bring peace I came to bring the sword. And to separate son from father so on n so on. To separate the believers from the disbelievers

But what if I can't stand myself... should I can't stand my neighbor the same way I can't stand myself... and in stead of love I am ambivalent to myself does that mean I should be ambivalent to my neighbor?

I would disagree. Does opening presents on Christmas make you a good Christian, no. And in the same way celebrating Halloween does not make you evil or a bad Christian.

Etymologically, it makes no sense not to celebrate. Halloween comes from all hallows eve, the day before all saints day, which is all but explicitly christian in nomenclature. All saints day, of course, being a day to celebrate and remember the words and deeds of the many saints. Thus, Halloween is a day of preparation, of gathering the supplies necessary to host a celebration, and what is the main celebration of Halloween but a mockery of gathering such supplies and ritual to make ready your home for the day of all saints?

My friend was dressed as a vampire and she was getting near me, my spirit was unsettled and I told her to move away from me. She was extremely offended but i tried to rationalise with her saying in the same way people respect Muslims in their not eating pork and not drinking the same level of respect should be given to Christians cause Halloween is basically "haram" or unholy for us to participate in. She didn't understand this and just called me weird

No, that's not at all what it's saying. Though it is recognized as a holiday, there is no ‘requirement’ for a Satanist to celebrate Halloween. It’s not regarded as some “high holy day” in Satanism. Indeed, there are no set ‘rituals’ for celebrating any holidays in, for example, LeVeyan Satanism. Most Satanists are atheists. For these people, Satanism has nothing to do with Satan at all. It is an atheistic philosophy and is not at all theological. Let’s be honest here, the Bible says absolutely zero about Halloween - accept that. One can’t cherry pick verses taken completely out of cultural and historical context and try to make them fit. Further these verses typically refer not to the historical facts concerning the origins of the holiday, but rather the legend, lore, assumptions, myths, and perhaps more importantly, the misinformation, outright lies and religious paranoia that surround it. As one commenter puts it - “This smear campaign against Halloween, in which it has been scapegoated among Christians as the ultimate manifestation of secularism and Satanism in contemporary culture, only goes back to fairly recent modern times when certain Christian groups resorted to any fanciful tale to counter the emerging counterculture of the 60's and 70's that they perceived as corrupting youth. Christian leaders since then have clutched us in a guilt trip ever since about a holiday which, prior to this extreme reaction, was indeed harmless for the most part like any other holiday and had no connection with satanic rituals. It was a cultural festival which, though mischievous at times, really posed no threat to society until we were forced to believe that it did.”

Hi your friendly neighborhood history nerd here, Halloween is actually an Irish holiday! It originated from the holiday of Samhain, the Irish used to light bonfires and dress up in costumes to scare evil spirits away. Only when it was brought to America was it used for satanic things. Ireland has the biggest Halloween festival in Dublin! Check it out if you are ever in Ireland for Halloween!

I am Celtic Irish and we invented holloween and it is about Halloween’s origins date back to the ancient Celtic festival of Samhain (pronounced sow-in). The Celts, who lived 2,000 years ago, mostly in the area that is now Ireland, the United Kingdom and northern France, celebrated their new year on November 1. This day marked the end of summer and the harvest and the beginning of the dark, cold winter, a time of year that was often associated with human death. Celts believed that on the night before the new year, the boundary between the worlds of the living and the dead became blurred. On the night of October 31 they celebrated Samhain, when it was believed that the ghosts of the dead returned to earth In addition to causing trouble and damaging crops, Celts thought that the presence of the otherworldly spirits made it easier for the Druids, or Celtic priests, to make predictions about the future. For a people entirely dependent on the volatile natural world, these prophecies were an important source of comfort during the long, dark winter. To commemorate the event, Druids built huge sacred bonfires, where people gathered to burn crops and animals as sacrifices to the Celtic deities. During the celebration, the Celts wore costumes, typically consisting of animal heads and skins, and attempted to tell each other’s fortunes. When the celebration was over, they re-lit their hearth fires, which they had extinguished earlier that evening, from the sacred bonfire to help protect them during the coming winter. Did you know? One-quarter of all the candy sold annually in the U.S. is purchased for Halloween. By A.D. 43, the Roman Empire had conquered the majority of Celtic territory. In the course of the 400 years that they ruled the Celtic lands, two festivals of Roman origin were combined with the traditional Celtic celebration of Samhain. The first was Feralia, a day in late October when the Romans traditionally commemorated the passing of the dead. The second was a day to honor Pomona, the Roman goddess of fruit and trees. The symbol of Pomona is the apple, and the incorporation of this celebration intoSamhain probably explains the tradition of bobbing for apples that is practiced today on Halloween so in actuality you are delusional because it has nothing to do with satan it actually celebrates different gods/godess’s Ps. Why do Christian believe that there is a magical red man underground? (Edit: it is actually a harvest festival to celebrate nature because that’s what we celts worship that’s why we used to where animal heads and pelt)
