I'm surprised this machine still works, it has long exceeded the lifespan of an average LG top load washer. Most seem to last 5-7 years before something major fails.

No life do I have. I’m here watching a washing machine, pissed off from the comments saying “HE washers are garbage.” Seriously, they’re not even that bad. My LG is 5.5 cu. ft. for a reason. It’s meant to take on your large loads (not like that). To the people saying that these are garbage, deal with them, because over the years, I have to admit, these are gonna get worse and you will have second thoughts on these washers being bad.
