I've been fortunate to have surfed many days up there like that! From Duluth and up the north shore to Marquette and the SE shore! I've surfed around the world and the waves up there can get epic if you can handle the cold! Brilliant little video showing the potential cleanliness of the waves.

Thanks! There were at least a half dozen and on our drive down 61, I'm sure I saw others (black dots in the water) near Split Rock and elsewhere!

excellent quickie vid short here Jodzeee !....at the Lester River, capturing even the legendary Bob Tema, who really helped start the surf scene on the north shore. Bob told us is was the best waves he'd ever seen at that spot. Thanks for shooting.......e...

...we've been blessed to get to surf here with this crew on the north shore for about ten years or so. A small enough group of friends, that we recognize their surf styles, how they ride, which way their stance is, their board color or length...etc....Everyone gets to know everyone else who surfs here eventually if you go enough. Coldest surf conditions, warmest Friends I have ever had the pleasure to share the line up with.....and yes, Friends showed up from California this weekend to surf and make some pro vid footage we may get to see in the near future.....keeping making vid shorts jodzeee, if you can, ... this one is real good.....e..

Cool! The first time I saw people surfing Superior was in Marquette, MI and I was floored! Brrrrr. We were just passing through on our way home to the cities from Lutsen so stopped to watch. Were the big waves predicted or were the Californians just lucky to pick the right weekend?
