Hi. My husband and son are BIG time into trains and have been building layouts for years but saw your crane and love it! Is this still available to buy and where? Thank you

@@lindaristau I believe the crane system was made by Heljan. I’m not sure it’s a current product in their catalogue.

A great layout, very realistic and well detailed. I like the sound effects too!

A great shame one didn't survive. Would to have loved to have seen one. Would be a major crowd puller in todays preserved scene. Always been fascinated with these locos since Hornby released its, model back in 1978

That's exactly how the old men up here in North East Scotland describe the sound of the Paxman engined Class 29, like a Class 20 without the chuka chuka!

And less lip sync...he sings "studio" quality. Compare other venues on the tour,and u hear he/the backing track sounds exactly the same. But they still rocks and sell tickets,so whatever works,right..?

Love this layout. Exactly as I remember things being when I was a kid. Reminds me of long walks along the canals with my grandad, or parking up near Tipton with him and watching the trains go by.

What’s the class of that tank engine in the background.
@BlackAndDeckerBoy3 жыл бұрын
It’s a Barclay 0-6-0. It’s a resin body from ARC models sitting on a High Level Kits chassis (from their Big Barclay kit which has square side tanks)

The 2-Bils are nice, I was always pleased to see them on a Kingston to Waterloo service, they always felt a bit "special" compared to the more common 4- SUBs and EPB,s, "real trains" stopped with the experimental 2/4-PEP sliding door stock
