Poor video. Two entirely different filter types. One shows the intake side and the other shows the exhaust side. What should have been done was compare a dirty filter intake with a clean filter intake of the same type. There are much better videos on this subject.

I find myself in the biggest purchase of my life only to be completely underwhelmed. The cheap appliances not installed properly and numerous home warrantee visits. It's a dog and pony show bassically. OK so they build at a high volume thus offer the year home warrantee yet they tell me I have to "contact GE" if the appliances aren't functioning well? I bought a new build in hopes there would be less problems.. boy was I wrong! The crappy non install on my Dishwasher was finally fixed after 4 or 5 visits by the Warrantee person, and I insisted that the plumber install my dishwasher the way he would want it in his home after reminding him that Hayden Homes was paying him hourly, so he should take his time, own this and do it right. He spent another 20 minutes making sure my Dishwasher was FINALLY installed right. The warrantee person left because he wasn't able to distract me by offering to take me up to another house to "show me how the Dishwashers are installed"? PLEASE don't waste my time! I KNOW this Dog and Pony Show, thus I focused on having the Plumber install the cheap Dishwasher properly. Now, second time TRYING to bake Chicken? WTF it takes HOURS to bake chicken in a NEW OVEN? and I know that when I contact Hayden Homes they are going to remind me about the "contract" and that I have to "contact GE about the appliance"! Horrible Horrible Horrible!!! I have a NEW HOME WARRANTEE with HAYDEN HOMES not with G.E.! ok... Pass the buck, Hayden Homes and here's your honest review.

I have that detector ... HATE IT. July 4th at 5am it gives me a false alarm (loud enough to wake the dead including my apt. neighbors) and it was bloody hell to get it to stop. Seems high humidity outdoor air (blowing through with a window fan) is enough to set off this damned thing. Replaced batteries per video and it still chirps every minute. Bedroom detectors using 9V batteries never have a problem.

Thank you. Your video helped me repair the caulk behind my kitchen sink, the most visible place in the kitchen. This was my first attempt ever and it turned out great. Scraping out the old caulk and the taping with painters tape was very important. Note that he removes the tape immediately. I did this and it looks great.

If a structure has significant weather seal issues (major draft) and other cracks, would excess moisture indoors contribute to caulk cracking? In some areas in my rental house, the cabinets look as if they may fall off the wall! This video was easy to follow for the layman, like myself! Thanks for the informative tips, my rental needs lots of caulking in every place imaginable! - side note on the production side of your video. I watched with headphones and while the background music is nice and provides a professional experience, the “main volume” needs adjusting. For me, it would accelerate to high decibels while you were not speaking, but dramatically shift when you began to speak again. Not a big deal, just a side note!

Great DIY! One step missed though not to be critical but helpful, when done caulking, pull the medal tab on the caulk gun which will stop the caulk from oozing out.
