@Ljobes_43 It's actually fine if they cross a little bit they will only call it if it messes up the play or interferes but if you cross the line bad they will call it

Great volleyball Player! Has serious potential! Here’s my tips, when your doing your approach to block (I’m a middle so..) try to get low and swing you arms js enough to add a powerful momentum to your jump your arms are huge contributors to blocking and getting low! You’re a great player love watching you!

Assuming you are an adult, you are playing on 2.24m net height, i am 13 and i play on the same height cause i'm a boy(around 5'5)and i still get similar blocks like that. In conclusion you don't have hops 💀.
