Hmm. Using drive letter A: and B: should probably not be an issue under modern Windows versions, even for hard drives, but those two are traditionally used for diskette drives.
@LarsV62Күн бұрын
Take extra care when using diskpart. It is no guarantee that the disk numbers are not necessarily the same in the GUI and diskpart, so remember to compare capacities and free space for each. This is especially true if you compare drive letters in Windows Explorer with disk numbers in diskpart. It's practically guaranteed that those are not the same. You will, however, see the assigned disk letters in diskpart. Use "list volume" to see how many volumes there are in the selected disk. That will also show assigned drive letters.

Great Video Sir. Simple and straightforward troubleshooting. Yes the hubs need to be pulsing a slow blue this marks the unit as reset and ready to setup. However at first it was a solid blue then after 5min as the video says it did eventually slowly pulse. I then factory reset my device on the google home app to start the whole setup process over. Now I’m back in action. Thanks again this video is time saver

The shelf will melt. It is to low and it would be dangerous to reach over a hot pot or pan. I am going to make one out of wood. Something you could could make too. But I would mount it up higher. I have an issue with the top of the back of my stove is not flat, which is a gentle curve. So I will have to mount it to the wall with brackets. Best of luck, and stay away from rubber shelves and heat. Bad design by the manufacturer.

I often time back up two of my data drives. I have mobile removable racks which makes taking the drives out of the computer easy. Each hard drive in my computer (desktop) is a solid state 2 TB in size and the drive I clone to is also a 2 TB 3” mechanical hard drive. Yesterday when I put the 2.5 SSD in the “source” slot of the Wavlink unit and put the 3” mechanical drive in the target slot I turned the power on to the Wavlink unit. Normally both red lights under the red “power” button comes on and stay on while I wait for the large mechanical 3” hard drive to spin up. I give it about 10 seconds and press and hold the power button about 4-7 seconds and release it. At that time the flashing light show the progress of the cloning process (¼, ½, ¾, and finally the last flashing light) showing it’s about finished. After that both top red lights will flash for a few minutes showing the completing of the cloning process and finally all lights stay on showing finished. Yesterday one of the Wavlink units worked just as I described while the other unit’s two red lights under the power would come on for a few seconds and the left light would go out. I could not clone the drive. I ended up using just one of the Wavlink units to clone each of the 2 TB drives. This took over 10 hours. I ended up taking that 3” 2TB, deleting all the partitions, reformatting the drive and checking it for defective tracks and cylinders before using it to clone the other 2.5” hard drive. I did not know if the Wavlink was defective so I took two 2-2.5” mechanical drives and testing them. I had the one drive as the source with data on it and the other drive (empty) in the target slot. I plugged both drives in, turned the power on and pressed the power button for 5-7 seconds and released it. The Wavlink unit’s left read light did not go out. It cloned the drive without a problem. I am really puzzled about what’s going on. Anyone have any suggestions?

@@dhansel4835 i usually, before cloning a drive, i take the destination drive, the blank empty one, I connect the destination / empty drive to my PC, then i do a diskpart clean of the drive, sometimes I do the extended clean all, but make sure, before doing a clean, that the drive has no DATA. This usually helps me when running into weird drive problems / issues

Thanks for the video. Quick connect was one issue. Used a 1/2 inch wrench to lift the tap, in my case it was moving very slowly, at first I thought it would just pop out but it moved bit by bit until the hole hose connector was out. The other issue wat putting the hose back through the faucet. I found that with just twisting and turning the hose went in right away. There are indeed 2 points of resistance but with some minor twisting it took 10 seconds to get the hose through.

I’ve also got this printer. I stocked up on cartridges while I could. Still have some but only use the printer for special occasions now. You won’t be able to use regular paper because this is neither laser nor inkjet but dye sublimation. Color and quality of printing is absolutely gorgeous. For dye sublimation, you need special sublimation paper which looks like glossy photo paper but actually has a thin coating of polyester on the surface which is what the dye sublimation needs to transfer to the paper. I still absolutely love this printer and I love the way it sounds when it is printing.
