I’d recommend feeding the cows in the float as often as possible to encourage confidence and good behaviour. Enjoying your videos 😊

@daninic9355 that is a brilliant suggestion. These weren't raised by me but all of my cows get halter broken & lead trained

@@honey-bee-farmstead I think the more exposure and experience we give our animals to situations they may encounter in the future builds confidence to ensure not only our lives are easier but potential owners. Being halter broke is definitely heigh on the list 😃 nice!

Thats incredible, we have no power at the moment and the noise of our big petrol powered generator is so annoying. Definitely looking into this.

@justme-uw6bz we seriously love this thing, we've been told that it will power our caravan for a week before it needs charging (which we can do solar) so we plant to test this and do a video showing the experience
The one I have is a 3000 pro with 1 solar panel but I will be getting more panels so it charges quicker.

What do you use for the belly strap? Is it just a ratchet strap?

Yes it's just an adjustable ratchet strap, I don't know if you can buy actual belly straps (I tried to find on Shoof and FMB but couldnt) but this works good.

Fantastic to hear about Gracie, I love watching her on your channel. She is such a great helper. It’s such a shame these days there is still a lot of bullying. Good job on seeding …. I've never seen such a big bubble at the back of the udder. She did so good on the machine for the first time.

She was an absolute darling and is learning so well. The key is to bring a calm confident energy to the milking stall. Her udder is looking really good now, all the swelling has gone down and she is producing us some beautiful milk.

How wonderful to find some Australian farmstead content. Are you in WA wheatbelt. I'm based in the South West of WA on a 100 acres. With beef cattle, dairy goats and and olive grove. I'd love to get a milk cow but not sure if it will ever happen. Now I'm off to check out some of your other content❤

Your animals are good looking, I love the colours of the goats, mine are plain coloured nubians. We are lucky at the moment to be able to pick up brewers grain 54 minutes away.
