This makes me think of being a young boy, running around the backyard while my father's working on things here abd there but his image, it grows duller everything I go to look for him, as though he were fading away into eternity.... Seen this doc a many times and everytime I get remembered what the definition is of Brutal self awareness and honesty when I listen to Scott Conner. Listen to his music and you know and feel he's been to "places"

Just stumbled upon this . I started listening to Xasthur in probably 04. Even then there was something different about it. It wasn’t just black metal. It was truly dark, and real real real fuckin weird. But amazing. Watching his mannerisms and his reluctance to talk about many subjects, seeing the house he lives in, he’s most definitely on the spectrum, and has also been abused. There’s absolutely no doubt in my mind. Could I be wrong? Of course. But I can see it. Truly a tortured artist. Brilliant.

No point helping these ppl, let them help themselves the ingrates. Did the same when I was a naive youth, helped them but got punched by one. Turned out he did so in order to get back to his true home, prison.

Ironically or not, black metal is very romantic. Showing the sad face of our world or a satanic view .. to prove that the opposite exists. Promoting, nature, paganism, natural brutality, EVROPA, anti-christianity etc.. Even DSBM.
