I think you lubed the boba u4ts a little too much there buddy LOL theyre known to lose alot of their tactility using a heavier lube like 205g

Yeah, mine did for a while but they don't anymore, I have not replaced them though. I might replace them soon just to future proof it.

For the tape mod did you add it over the foam or on the board and then put the foam ?

For this build I put masking tape right on the back of the pcb then added foam to the case after

This kbd67 lite r4 board has the tape mod, holee mod on stabilizers, and some added foam

I personally put some more foam in it but I’m still experimenting. I try to dampen as much as possible and with extra foam I got it in a decent place.

Hi. I’m from Japan and a total keyboard beginner thinking of getting KDB67, so your video is very helpful. (And love owls!) Also I have a question. What is the definition of “thock”? I asked an American somewhere else but he said “Never heard of it.” I know what it’s like but can’t define it.

Hey, thanks for the comment. I would define 'thock' as a deep and almost soft sound as you press the key. Let me know if you get the keyboard and what you think, make sure to lube your switches!

I actually really liked episode 1 (which everyone disliked for being too slow), and the rest of the episodes have let me down, but I’m still hopeful.
