Hey! Does this property qualify you for the investors visa since it is $46K? If you are looking to come to Vilca from the USA? It looks like a great first property to get into with the perfect price! Wish there were more just like this for those of us who want to move down there and dont have "digital nomad" status. Im betting this property will be gone before i can get it but this is exactly what i need to start out there as long as it qualifies for the visa. Not all properties do.

How would one furnish an unfurnished house in that area? How much is the cost of furnishing, especially if you’re not in a big city? And it would be nice to mention the age of the house, either in videos or the website. I don’t think I saw it 🤔

Plenty of furniture purchasing options here, from rustic to modern. House was built about five years ago I think ... and refurbished/upgraded prior to listing.

Thanks for a great video! Is this property inside or outside the range of needing a building permit? I know that they are a bit new to Vilca. Interested in a property like this where I can build multiple tiny aircrete dome structures. What is the elevation of the property and general shape of the platt map? The finishing costs really depend on the new owner and the level of finish they want, of course. But somewhere in the range of $25k base, to $60k high end, would be our estimate. It's a stunning place and view. It was left unfinished because the current owners had to sharply change their plans for personal and family reasons. Thanks for your interest and comment. 👍

Hi folks, question on visas and moving to Vilcabamba; I want to buy land there, start an organic farm where I hire locals as well as offer other services, like massage, maybe in a shop in town. Im a 44 year old single mom with a small child currently living in Arkansas. What do you recommend for a visa? Also, as far as the notary part goes, lets say i wanted to go ahead and pick up a small piece of property site unseen which i know is never recommended but just to have the information, would it be possible to go to the Ecuador embassy in Miami Florida or Houston Texas to have my part of the notary process done? Or do i physically HAVE to show up there locally to go through the buying process? Another question i have is how it works when you are buying property and gifting it to someone, for example if i somehow luck out lol and end up with a money making KZbin channel i would LOVE to lift local people out of poverty and build nicer homes on better farm land etc. But here in the states you go through so much crap with taxes and everything that it is not really possible to be a good philanthropist here unfortunately but it SEEMS like Ecuador doesn't have quite as much red tape as far as fees and such? Can you buy a piece of land or house on land and put it into a trust fund for someone there??? And what happens to your property if the law suddenly changes and Ecuador decides not to renew visas for Americans for whatever political reason and we are all forced to leave? I have so many questions lol.

Nick, great work, a couple of suggestions. First put up a map of the area with the properties outlined and their distance to the towns. Second, a wireless mike to cut down on the reverb picked up in the interiors. Hasta pronto.

Yes, as you can see, I love cats, but sometimes keeping the peace/equilibrium for the existing animals on the property is very important. Cats, peacocks, and a Amazonian river-turtle ... it's enough here for the time being I think! 😁 I am sure you'll find a place which will suit you and your cats ... all the very best of luck. 👍
