1:22:04 「スピン・ドリフター」は、ブラジルを旅した櫻井さんが書いた曲で、１度NHKホールだったかのライブでCasiopeaの新曲として演奏されたのを聴いた記憶があります。その後、ライブで演奏されることもなかったのが、二名敦子さんのアルバムに歌詞がついて収録されたので、Casiopeaの曲としてはハマらなかったなかったものの、こういう形で生かされたんだな〜と感慨深く聴いた覚えがありますね。往年のCasiopeaファンとしては、懐かしい曲が多くて嬉しく拝聴しました。

コメントありがとうございます。以前、櫻井さんがブラジルを旅した後、1982年の「Voyagers」ツアーのカシオペアのコンサートで演奏された「BAIA DEL SOL」という曲を作ったという人がいたが、それがアルバム『DEWDROPS』に収録されている「PROPHET VOYAGER」の原型になったのかもしれません。野呂さんの略歴によると、『PHOTOGRAPHS』について語るとき、「LOVE YOU DAY BY DAY」はブラジルとは関係ないと思っていたらしいです。それを忘れていたようです…

Finally watched it, and what a ride it was! I like how you tried to feature every member in there (and I do mean every member that's recorded an album/played live with Casiopea/even some other songs that feature a member or two). It took about halfway through the video for me to realize that, mostly because I was blown away by the sheer number of references you put in there! I really wish this got more views, haha...

5:28 What is "Andromeda Patrol" at this timestamp? I cannot find any sources of the song or any cover of it anywhere on the internet or what ever it has to do with Cross Point lives during 1981...

As you can hear, Andromeda Patrol is still Galactic Funk! Many Casiopea tracks were played live way before they were recorded for albums with different arrangements, and the prototype name is often different from the final title. In the case of Galactic Funk, it was played live before the Cross Point recording under the title "Andromeda Patrol" which has a more disco-like arrangement for the B-section. It was also titled Air Puncher at some point!

Similar to how Marine Blue was titled "Sunny Day in Ryogoku" or just "New Song" in the Live 1985 lineup, and where Misty Lady had a different name as a protoype in Roppongi Pit-Inn! May I find or have the original source of "Andromeda Patrol" or "Air Puncher"

櫻井さんが、抜けた時に、グループ感が寂しくなった。鳴瀬さんのベースでは、泥臭くて、汚くて、素直に気持ち良く乗れない。今では、BGMみたいな曲風なので、残念。うまく行かんもんですね。

This references the first concert Casiopea gave after Sakurai and Jimbo left the band, replaced by Naruse and Hiyama. It happened on April 27th 1990 at Tokyo Racecourse. It's a fan recording, not an official release.

@@superaph7co.774 Wow, really? I have a recording by a fan of the 1991 Tokyo Racecourse, but this is the first time I've heard the 1990 one. I like CASIOPEA with Naruse and Hiyama joining, and I am especially looking for the 1990 recordings (including unofficial ones). I was born in Japan in 2000, and the only way I can find out what happened back then is to listen to sound sources and other materials that “people who knew back then” have in this way. If it is possible, can I listen to the concert recordings from 1990? (I'm using a translation site, so I apologize if my writing is not correct.)

THIS IS THE GREATEST CASIOPEA TRIBUTE IVE EVER SEEN! All the references had me screaming throughout, especially Andromeda Patrol! I can’t imagine how much effort it took to compile songs from every album in this arrangement! A bit surprised you didn’t include Mukaiya’s alternate keyboard solo that uses the B-section’s chord progression which he played quite often around late 1985 I think? But other than that, this is PERFECT!!

Thanks for the kind words! As you said, the late 85 version of Mukaiya's chord progression has the B-section chords, whereas the progression played between late 83 and late 85 does something different. I also didn't want to make it longer to keep its original impact. Aside from being more iconic, this is why I picked it instead!
