I cry every time I see people shipping kaeya with Diluc they aren’t biological brothers but they are adoptive that makes them brothers still like why do people ship them google even said their not brothers but they are brother because kaeya was adopted {I wrote this comment as like a thank you for knowing the two are brothers 😭}

Pol ship them bcuz chinese translation is iffy and in the original chinese text they're not really brothers, more like super close friends that lived together. The Eng translation says they're brothers because western audiences likely wouldn't "understand the relationship" bcuz there's not really a straightforward translation of their relationship from Cn to Eng.
