1st man and it seems like u didn't look into the z index thingy for rendering that i mentioned in your last video, u should take a took into it , this will make people(who watch your vid for tutorial) like whole a lot easier rather than constantly thinking about where is player order on render. this is the map for the option , click the player scene, inspector > CanvasItem > Ordering > Z index , change that to value > 0. Can u pin this message so people can see this quickly and save a lot of hassle

I appreciate the feedback and will take a look into that, thanks!

@@games_by_senan seems like it solved the problem, in next vid mention this trick , since most people don't look into comments.

Great Video, Learned a lot from your video. Always create video on unique topics that anyone rarely talks about on KZbin, like this video - The Level Designing. Btw Explanation is great.

lots of good stuff for beginners to learn, but the actual level design is missing. Level deign is where you design you level, its where you plan what goes into you level and the layout, what is the story, does the level got a boss monster etc... Level design is not so much about hit boxes or monster behavior, that stuff is under Game Mechanics.

bro neatly explained , i am also just starting learning godot, i used to use c++ sfml to create a game{created a nokia bounce game clone } , at 13:13 where u r trying to make player to be front of any object u can change the z position of player to number > 0 , since godot default z number is 0. this will make player to render over any object . I think u can find this in the inspector part on positioning part.

as a brand new noob into game dev, should i continue with 4.3 or go with the 4.4 beta ?
@games_by_senan11 күн бұрын
It doesn’t matter much which version you use; either is fine. I recommend the latest stable version. Using an unstable version may not let you fully appreciate the changes. Anyways, my tutorials work with anything at or above Godot 4.3. All the best!
@kekmaster-et6el11 күн бұрын
@@games_by_senan thanks for the reply! will stick to 4.3 until 4.4 full release :) Also thanks for the impressive tutos! A usefull next one would be how to make multiple levels in such a 2d plateformer with saves... like when you finish level 1, the next day you can continue your journey from level 2 etc... :)
