Do you need an auto shut off valve if using a float?

Has anyone been able to find a cheaper membrane replacement? These membranes are overpriced and I need to replace 2 of them as i have the Stealth RO-300.

What size is the outlet?

Please help. Is it meant to able to also stand vertically or is it recommended to be lay horizontally?

I am having the same issue with my RO 300 as @seasorablue, i.e. (very little product flow w/76=82psi and full flow waste water), I'm getting less than a gallon of product per 55 gallons of waste water. And to add even more frustration Hawthorne Growth Company's Hydrologic tech support WILL NOT RESPOND TO REPEATED ATTEMPTS TO GET HELP, after 6 phone messages and 3 emails, I got one call (which I couldn't answer) and THEY REFUSE TO CALL BACK OR RESPOND TO EMAILS. Any ideals on fixing this problem or getting Hawthorne to act like they have an actual tech support capability would be greatly appreciated.

My product flow is super low, only dripping, even though the pressure is good and the waste is full flow. What do i do?

This brand used to be the shit back in the day, now it's extremely hard to find any type of filters online from this company Google search just shows knock off brands from Amazon that has half the flow rate. Their customer service is nonexistent.... Their website used to be easy to navigate and to find their filters and products now they only show you hydro stores without a website, I'm not going out of my way to make a phone call to describe a hard to find product when I can find the product on a website and self-checkout myself.

pssst....well water doesn't have any chlorine or cloramines in the water...it's untreated. Any of these options are really useless.

What is the pressure drop of a typical 3 piece membrane setup at that flow rate and inlet pressure? Can add a gauge to the faucet side and find out?

You put that di cartridge on that without a three stage pre filter and watch that resin deplete in 20 gallons😂😂😂😂. Hydrologic is nothing but rebranding and 300% markup. AMI makes their membranes and they use other things like filters and fittings from buckeye hydro. When they sell a membrane for $100+ dollars because they got it made in black instead of blue for the same membrane you can buy direct for $25-$30 they have no credibility😂😂. If I’m wrong let me know . They market their products to hydro gardeners who don’t know any better. Such a shame that companies exist to obfuscate their products behind marketing and clever branding. Hydrologic can’t even tell it’s customers the number rating on their flow restrictions or the ppm ratings for source water that should be used to gauge membrane longevity. They run their 300 gpd systems with parallel membrane configuration doubling the waste water and reducing the membrane pressure at the same time making the whole system less efficient while never mentioning any of that in their product manuals. Selling catalytic granular activated carbon for $50 bucks a filter when you can buy the same exact product for $10 bucks and fill the cartridge yourself is Highway robbery. 😂😂😂 I make sure everyone I come across who bought one of these systems never buys anything from them again 😂😂😂. This video is horrible and only serves to show what the company really is. 😂😂

New system sounds like there is air in the system and also I am not getting clean water from the blue hose...its the same reading as the waste water...pretty frustrating since I can't get ahold of anyone

I do not recommend this company, it’s a cheap RO system, and so are other hydrologic products.

My system had pieces missing, I don’t comment on this stuff usually, but I’d pay $100-$200 more and get a better RO system, these work bad with well water too, even if you have (2) pre-filters, which I have, they clog and stop working. It would cost this company about $10 more to send these assembled, they are cheap and this is a low quality brand.

But I was wondering, can I set it up to still be able to use the new RO line, but also be able to use just the dechlorinated existing SmallBoy line? Thanks for the helpful instructions on how to adjust pump strength. Aquatec should ship a cheap 1.5mm allen key with the pump. On the bright side, I had the correct sized allen key.
