I know you created it a while ago but, I've just now decided to take notes and REALLY try and use my Rocket book big notebook I ordered during covid time as well as one of the bullet journal ones my mom just gave me for Christmas. I'm SO glad I came across your video though because even though there were a few other videos up for tips and tricks while using the reusable notebooks, I ended up getting incredibly confused by them. Your video is worded in such a way that the bullet points from another video I was confused by was able to be cleared up as well as you gave me some pretty amazing tips on other things I can do. I'm so happy I didn't decide to get rid of my original notebook and now I can actually get into using it and my new one with actually seeing the purpose for them. 😅

Two years ago I gave each of my three adult kids and spouses the emergency medical file printed and set up in folders ready to go.. Daughters-in-law were especially appreciative! I even made pages for teen kids where appropriate.

From my experience: even with properly moistened cloth or sponge there is a constant struggle with smudges from ink. It's so annoying. After wiping off few pages, either sponge or cloth needs to be washed under running water (as it gets dirty from ink pretty fast). Rocketbook is promoted as ecological alternative to traditional paper, but the frequent need to use water contradicts, IMHO, the very idea of environment-friendly device. I am planning to save money to buy an electronic notebook. In the meantime I will stick to traditional notebooks.

Instead of meal prepping, I prep ingredients, such as rice or pasta, various sauces, meat such as shredded chicken, beans, roasted veggies. I eat a combo of whatever I feel like eating for the meal at hand. Sometimes in the mood for more protein, sometimes want a big salad. As I run out of something, I make something to replace it.
