This is my 3rd day knowing these dies exist! I purchased quite a few of them here in the USA. Is there a place online that provides a video/introduction etc. about how to use these dies? I'm seeking just the basic information/tutorial. For example: In the video about the hippy bus, you show a white piece of paper with what appears to be the design of the cute rainbow background. How do you get the markings on the white paper? Die cutting? That can't be. Is it embossed? So how does one prepare the cardstock background before the cut pieces are glued on? Thank you.

@@bobbyebissette2232 in some older videos I show how I do that, but I’d rather try to explain it here than look for the videos as I have too many 🙈 It is actually diecutting BUT you can definitely save time by just using the cover plate as an embossing folder to mark the lines. I’m just so used to diecutting, I don’t even think to emboss. Sooo. I diecut the panel from 110lb Neenah solar white cardstock. It’s best to do this with new cutting plates that are still straight bc then the die cut pieces usually don’t fall out of the die yet. Keep the plates together while cutting, then flip them over, holding the die tight. Take a piece of Press ‘N Seal and press it onto the diecuts to hold them together. Then remove the die. You’ll need another piece of Press ‘N Seal to put on the right side of the diecuts and then remove the piece from the backside. I then add double sided adhesive to a 5x7” CS panel (I use the 6” Elisabeth Crafts double sided adhesive roll) and I’ll glue this on the backside of the diecuts. Done! Should some of the diecuts fall out of the die, I carefully place them back, or I place them on the Press ‘N Seal individually. I hope this makes sense! I now quickly checked, I show sth similar in this video: kzbin.info/www/bejne/d6KwdoyAit-og5o only here I use liquid glue instead of double sided tape. Then in this video I actually do it all by gluing each die cut on the background one by one, before I had Press ‘N Seal. kzbin.info/www/bejne/hKrYaqhmrcd1g6s Sometimes I still do it this way bc I’m used to it and for some weird reason I enjoy it 😂 But like I said, if you don’t enjoy spending time on things like this, embossing works just as well I’m sure. Sigh! It's 2:20am 😅 and I have to go to bed, but I'm so inspired to make a card, LOL ! LOVE the patterned paper option. I actually bought a variety of 6x8's and 6x6 pads just to be able to do this. To me, mixing colour and pattern successfully is a lot harder than using cardstock. It fits the bohemian look I gravitate too. Like something a gypsy might mix together in a fab outfit! 🩵🩵 xK

This die and the colours you chose are so flippin' imaginative. No one does colour like you. It's totally what I see as your super-power. I'm kind of amazed that the colour pieces don't move when you're planning the card. I love this idea of using double-sided sheets right on the die before you remove the entire die cut. Genius! 🩵🩵K

Awww you're sweet for checking in! I haven't made any cards since August actually...Lots of reasons, new kittens, moving house, on and off sick - I've focused on other things. Especially on interior design - but still a long way to go! Also, my YT channel is demonetised, I haven't had time to deal with it, it's very frustrating. I hope to be back sometime in January, but my video set up is not done yet. Fingers crossed I can get back to it ASAP! Wishing you a wonderful, peaceful holiday season! X

Hi Zsoka ❤ WOWPowder is antistatic by itself... maybe the problem is caused by using it together with the powder tool? But WOW Powder uses this properties if you use it with plastic spoons or trays... they recommend to alwys leave it in the original jar and only use metallic spoons, (or better put it back with a folded paper). Have you tried it without the powder tool?... hope it helps ❤❤❤ by the way.... your videos are awesom, unique and stylish... had to sub ❤

@@holleybolin1704 thank you so much! Textured papers I use are mostly from Bazzill, some are Craft Emotion, a Dutch brand. The patterned papers are from Jen Hadfield but I can’t say which collection unfortunately. I’m sorry I’m no big help 😩

I don’t remember what sticky paper I would have used. 🤔 But I do use the 6” Elizabeth Craft Designs double sided adhesive for all my cover plates. These are just crazy cute and of course I had to have it and the background die!! I've been imagining all the colours I want to make 😄 Quick question. When you make the score line in the shaped card. Does your trimmer have a score blade doing it, or the cutting blade? If it's the cutting blade, how do you ensure it doesn't cut all the way through? Do you cut through the first layer and just score the second? Am I asking too many questions? LOL ! 💛 xK

@@kellymadeit1222 no love, good question ❤️ I think all trimmers of that type have two different blades. I use a scoring blade. I only use that Spellbinders trimmer for scoring. It scores sooo much better than my previous one! Thank you for your order 😍
