I am an engineer and can barely understand your instructions. You could really improve on this front. Otherwise, The seat seems very well built with good materials and mechanisms.

Perfect example of horrible instructions video. Why no Audio to begin with. Too fast. No instruction on how to unclip things. Disappointed took me hours to figure things out.

A key part that this video is missing is that the top tether strap comes facing the wrong way for the rearward facing position. The tether adjuster button faces inwards towards the seat instead of outwards towards the door like in the video. You need to twist the belt 180 degrees to get it to face outwards.

@@louiselamego yep, it would have been helpful if the video explained that part. I ended up getting mine checked at the store and the installation technician took the top padding off and did the 180 degree twist internally (I’m not sure whether the twist is still there and has just been moved internally or whether he flipped the entire belt at the source?) It looked very fiddly to do but it now faces the correct way without a (visible) twist in the belt.

@@gavinfoster673 Oh nice, I was going to get a technician to check it, but I emailed Britax (pending response) and called them. They asked me whether it was a B-Compaq and told me straight away this is normal when in rearward facing mode. So I might leave it for now. But I told them on the email they should have something official on their website saying that.

Really need to explain how to tighten loosen the seat, we have the new model and previous model, the latest version is just horrible to use. Would advise others to look into alternatives, that can be adjusted more easily, it seems like very poor design in the latest version.

Please fucking get a better instructional. Why don’t you put the fucking bar adjustment in another video instead of it being first so I don’t flip baby /s. You’ve put it right at the end. It should be first thing to stabilize the carrier. Stupid fuck

What is the strap for that is attached to the tether strap and the base? is just to keep them from getting separated? ensuring you don't use it without the tether strap. kind of hangs about in the way.

because Australia is behind the times! ISOFIT without tether strap is safer because it allows children to be rear facing much longer, in other countries children are rear facing a lot longer than here. Heck even in USA some states say children need to be in booster seats until 12 or 4 foot 9.... Here no matter how small the child they can be without booster at 7 years old.

Princess Peach isofix replaces the seatbelt. The top tether prevents upwards head excursion and limits spinal compression in a crash. They serve different functions

The strap (permanently attached to the bar bear the baby's feet) on my Unity carrier is a different length to in this video. I can't understand how the carrier could possibly be properly fitted. While this video explains everything very clearly, the straps are a completely different length in real life. Very confusing.
