Outstanding video. My Japanese wife and I will be doing our 25th wedding anniversary hiking up the stairs to Kotohira Jinja and Konpira Jinja. Thank you so much for sharing your great video. I really appreciate it.

That's awesome! Hope you didn't mind the spoilers then. :) It was great in spring but next time I'd like to go in early summer maybe, just before the tsuyu season. Autumn seems nice too.
it's kind of dark vibe during the night? what are the operation hour for the onsen?
@olle7498 Жыл бұрын
The darkness is very typical for Japanese rural areas, even tourist spots, as most shops and restaurants tend to close early - but I imagine there's much more light when it's not off season. I went on a weekday in late January, so the darkness is to be expected. The 9 free semi-public hot springs are open 24 hours (except possibly for cleaning I guess), but you might have to unlock yourself to get in. Most lodgings will lend you a key to the baths. Other than those most lodgings also have their own onsen baths, and there are some notable pay baths as well (I don't know their closing hours but I think it was quite late). Some of the pay baths are quite popular and may require a reservation.

No thank you sir for a really nice piece of music! Happy you liked the video. :)
So nice upload here, fantastic sounds and lovely walking in the forest. May i ask which camera you used? Just great. I enjoyed it. Thanks for sharing dear. All the best. Have a wonderful time and see you soon again ♥

Thanks a lot! Really appreciate you dropping by. It was a great walk and there are longer videos of it as well if you're interested (without music though). The camera is a simple GoPro Hero 8. It has its flaws but in general is pretty easy to use.

,,,a cool video keep up the great content.. Thank you…

Thanks! I was actually quite disappointed by the amount of motion blur going on in this one. Seemed at the time it was definitely bright enough for the GoPro to keep up, but oh well.

After a quick peek at your channel, I thought you might also enjoy this: kzbin.info/www/bejne/Z5qzfnSphNeWmpI (Although the sound gets distorted in slow motion and also by water entering the camera microphone.)

Sorry for being off topic, but I just saw your comment on the NeverKnowsBest CRPG video and couldn't believe it. I mean what are the odds of randomly checking through some of his videos in the middle of the night, reading the latest comment and recognizing your game channel. Blows my mind. Glad you're still enjoying taking footage of your trips. Have a good one

Hey, nice of you to drop by! Yeah I'm still filming stuff. The backlog is getting rather weighty and it's not easy keeping up. Hopefully I can get around to doing something with an OCR track again soon too. :)

Great job, haven't seen aquatic ambience used for actual under water footage and who would have thought, it fits very nicely. I added the OCremix 'Colours of the Winter Sky' to my playlist which lead me going through some older songs, which lead me to finding your channel in the comments, only to find 'Colours of the Winter Sky' in your Sunset at Hoshizuna Beach video... Full circle :D I guess one positive thing during the current times is getting to film with a lot less people around the more popular places and the additional space sort of emphasizes the surrounding nature and architecture.

Nice! Unfortunately I didn't have enough footage for the whole piece in my Hoshizuna video, but "Colours of the Winter Sky" is a fantastic song isn't it. :) "Eternal Beginnings" as well, which is what I used for the sunset video. As for "Aquatic Ambience", you'd think the Internet would be crawling with pro-level underwater videos using the song, but instead you get my amateur one. Happy you liked it! :) (Doesn't mean there aren't any other videos using the song. In fact I'd be surprised if I was actually first, and I'd love to find some more.) That is indeed one positive. Unfortunately travel plans are also much less certain - you don't really know if you can go to a place until you're actually there.

Any tips on good instrumental OCR songs by the way? I'm thinking I want to make a 5-or-so minute traditional Japanese townscape collage video in the not too far-off future.
@Kralchen3 жыл бұрын
Not sure, since I haven't listened to everything on their channel and I don't know if it would fit the tone of the video footage. It's also a bit hard to keep oversight with this many songs. kzbin.info/www/bejne/f5myfYSnbNZskKs I come back to this one pretty regularly. The instruments and melody could fit, but it might be a bit too up-beat. kzbin.info/www/bejne/Y5qWl5qOfaqfl5o More somber medley. Could be interesting for editing. Good luck with whatever you may find and decide on.

On a side note, here is a different kind of recommendation you might appreciate. kzbin.info/www/bejne/mpmym2WriLejmrM kzbin.info/www/bejne/kF6viJ-Mhcejick They are the only two of their kind from that channel, so enjoy.

Hey, thanks for the recommendations! The Myanmar video brought me back to a trip I made a few years back, when things still seemed to be progressing sort of in the right direction over there.
