@@madbrit ... I'll be running some 265/75/16 on stock alloy rims... Dimension listed on those were about 31.20's.... So I figured I'd should be fine... Can't wait to check the place out... Seen it has quite a few lakes and I do like to fish so sounds like a good place...

Thanks for video of just overlanding. For those of us who no longer have their vehicle or ability to do this it is nice to participate in your adventure. My first vehicle was a 1953 CJ3b, then a 1970 CJ5 from a Shell tv commercial. Then a 1957 Dodge Power Wagon (the big one) 5 Willys Overland Phaetons 1967 Bronco, 1970 Wagoneer then lastly 1969 Jeepster. That's all. Enjoy your ability to have an off road adventure, I did.

My father flew a C-47 in WW II, he commanded a flight wing. He was shot down the day before the Normandy invasion after dropping radio sticks. He crash landed in Bastone France and was taken prisoner for six week before the US MARINES and the Russian forces liberated the stalag...it’s a gorgeous air craft, long live the Goonie bird!!!!!

The two guys running the largest tires appear to have the hardest time overcoming that obstacle. Is it drive error, taking a harder line, or perhaps not as effective?
@madbrit3 жыл бұрын
The stock flat fenders were taking a different line than the vehicles with larger tires. Soni's Flatfender blew his ARB lockers so struggled up the high ledge. The last vehicle was a Scorpion and had no trouble. It really depends on the obstacle and driver. The lightweight stock flat fenders do extremely well and when equipped with a locker are fantastic and show the mega Dollar buggies a thin or two.

My first ever airplane trip was in an old Southern Airways DC-3. To me the DC-3/C-47 will always be one of the most beautiful aircraft ever built. These old tail draggers just have a certain class to them that modern aircraft just cannot touch. And did anyone notice how gently the pilot lowered that rear wheel down onto the runway?

It appears in the video that the rubber door seals are missing leading to ALOT of wind noise in that area. Please put some window foam tape or something around the interior of the door - not to pressurize the cabin, just to mellow out that wind noise as air passes over that unsealed door.
