The 70s and 80s were full of good horror movies.

Betsy Palmer’s performance in this film was just SO captivating. It really made this film special.

They should of kept crazy Ralph alive until the final chapter.

The music in this movie gives me chills

Adrienne's story about the stalker is heartbreaking and so scary. The full story is just....I can definitely understand why she retreated into a quieter life. Awful. 😞

I remember renting this on VHS in 1985 the video store was called video magic. My mom said if I keep my grades up in school I can watch Friday the 13th. This is great memories before dvd was invented

Fun fact: Victor Miller, the writer of Friday the 13th, was also a longtime writer for a little soap opera called All My Children.

As much as I love the Friday The 13th movies and I do prefer the franchise over The Halloween franchise, the first movie wasn't as scary as the original Halloween..

I was lucky to be sitting in the theater in 1980 when it came out with my friends, and we was high smoking on some Kona Bud from Hawaii. Love them days, now we have it on Blu-ray.

There will never be a horror movie like this one, remember sitting with my friends in the theater watching it over and over. Going in smoking Kona Bud from Hawaii very high, good days in America back then. Now we have it on Blu-ray.
