Do you know where foreigners can rent crashpads to climb in HK? Are there local group chats that can be joined? This pad looks like a cool alternative too..

Hm u could join the Facebook group and ask if you could tag along any group of climbers that has plan to go bouldering Alternatively I believe N Boulder has bouldering pads for rental (on the pricey side), or you could DM instagrams of different bouldering gyms to see if they’ll rent out their pads for u

Nice send! Projecting this rn, thanks for the beta!
I will try it out more in outdoors when the weather is colder, but it is surprisingly fine if you don’t inflate it to the fullest. Feels the best when it is underneath a thin mat.

Why aren't there more videos coming out of China? (not Hong Kong). Bit country with lots of geological formations..but...no videos?
@claraunderarock7 ай бұрын
You know KZbin is technically banned in China right 😂?
@neepers7 ай бұрын
@@claraunderarock You know that you can record videos on devices these days? And those people can do this thing called 'upload' them. Every foreigner and many Chinese use a VPN in China.
@ingrid.wilers76267 ай бұрын
@@neeperswhy are you complaining about the lack of China rock climbing videos in a HK rock climbing vid lmao, and VPN is illegal in China.
@neepers7 ай бұрын
@@ingrid.wilers7626 because china has amazing geology and all we see is videos out of HK. Doesn't matter if VPN is illegal, visitors can record videos and upload after they leave, duh.

Sick climb and nice video. Would of liked only one shot of the climb, having the phone vid and drone vid side to side was kinda distracting. I only focused on the drone vid. Maybe a one shot of both vids edited together would be smoother? :) Keep it up

I've spent 4 summers straight in Kalymnos, I fell in love with the island, Arginonta is very nice especially for the sunset, but the sea is often bad due to the direct current entering the bay. After the first summer living in masouri we stayed 3 years straight in Emporios that is a paradise. Anyway the climbing is awesome quite everywhere. How could you reach the other crags without a car or a scooter? The public transports are very poor. The house looks very nice, may I ask you what was the daily cost?
@claraunderarock Жыл бұрын
We only went to crags that are within walkable distance from where we live (masauri & arginonta). The cost of the house we lived in was approximately $110 USD per night~
Their logic is dumb anyway. Video games = fake form of whatever activity is being presented Getting food at supermarket= fake form of gathering and hunting ? Writing on online forums = fake form of writing on real paper? Lol

Excellent points made! While it's true that outdoor climbing and indoor climbing have distinct differences, indoor climbing serves as a fantastic entry point for individuals interested in participating, making it a valuable asset for the growth of the sport. As you rightly mentioned, accessibility is often a significant hurdle for many ordinary citizens. Therefore, having the option to visit a nearby indoor gym in the city center to pursue climbing is truly beneficial. In regards to the misogynistic comments suggesting that climbers have it easy just because a female can reach the top, it is evident that those individuals have never truly experienced the sport themselves. Climbing, regardless of gender, requires dedication, skill, and perseverance. Those comments only reflect a lack of understanding and appreciation for the challenges climbers face.
No not really, because I really enjoy training coordination moves too, if u’re forcing people to choose one you’re really missing the whole point of the video
