Why didn't you put the cylinders in the configuration of the actual block? You have a left and right bank but the cylinders are not labeled correctly. Drivers side is all odd: 1,3,5,7. Passenger side: 2,4,6,8.

Really well done! I just recently came across your Starflight project. I have been testing beta versions of Exoplanet which is a reimagined version of Starflight into VR currently available on Steam for free. I think the developer of Exoplanet has done a really good job in making it feel like Starflight. I was looking for material to research some of the lore and missions found in the original game, I have forgotten most of it and that's how I came across your github project. I played Starflight when I was a teenager on my Commodore 64.

Need a Higher stall converter, yours locks up at lower RPM, I would just two foot it at track, stall it to 2500 and let it fly

I grew up with this game on the Sega Genesis in the 90s. I played this all the time and still never beat it! lol I will be one of the first to buy any kind of re-make! This looks awesome! Starflight is one of my top 10 Genesis games and one of the most under rated games of all time!

this looks great. i especially like how you've mapped the original terrain maps onto the 3d planet surfaces -- it's a great nod to the original game, and looks surprisingly good aesthetically!
