Um ya. The home stand by you say is so expensive is auto start and transfer. Its already housed. Its quieter. And yes, it will cost you around $4000-$5000 for a 20 kw generator (plus install but comes with an automatic transfer switch) BUT it will run most of your home. Also runs on natural gas or propane. Nat gas doesnt go out during a storm

Countertop dishwashers have small capacities and are not great at washing dishes TIME efficiently, which unless you are single, eliminates them as budget contenders. The best budget appliance is a great one that saves you time AND energy, and usually one you could not afford if it wasn't marked down at the end of its production cycle. The latest and greatest is over-priced.

You cannot add your own pdfs to the Kodo readers! All books need to be purchased from their store.

Yes you can sideload your pdfs and epubs to Kobo readers, just plug it to the computer and use a software called Calibre.
