The genius of MES and the fall was how he could surround himself with such talented musicians on a regular basis . This might be one of the best ensembles , but just go looking for later stuff like Latchkey kid from the basement club and you will just see the magnetic ability to have the tightest musicians at his side , always . ❤

I first heard the fall while I was sleeping it was on a college radio station and when I woke up I thought that was the coolest dream because there's no band in reality that could be like that. Then it happened again I fell asleep in dream and this station played a fall song and I'm like wow I'm having great dreams. Then in reality I walked into a club filled with Nazis in uniform Communists and uniform punks bikers rednecks and post punk people. Fiery Jack what's playing in everyone was singing to it. This was like a dream but it was real and that's when I knew that this is the best band ever that was in 1980 I still think that way.
