Just hauling because we are in a severe drought. No ground water. We water out of our well in the winter with a frost free hydrant at my other farm. This farm I have a tank set up below a pond with a heater in it. This pasture had a spring dry up that never has in 45 years.

I'm still easy to do it the old-fashioned way, I like to roast mine in the oven putting a split like a cross on it, and it pretty much peels itself, then I just chop it up, and stew it up.

The flies don't cause pinkeye they spread it I vaccinate my whole herd for pinkeye and don't have any issues with it anymore it cost less than 2$ a head and it really does work
