Looks like the settings on my 4-5 ton air handler only has three speed settings for 4 and 5 ton modes. The manual has a chart with 8 speed settings for static pressure setting. Which lines are for high, medium, low?

I have four Gree mini split units. Horrid on heat and my electric bill went up 90 percent! I only use one in the small living room with my coat on because there are so many cold spots due to uneven heating. It’s not on all day. My electric bill went up so high. Imagine if I use the four units. It would be worse. I really regret getting these units. Want to get rid of them. Gas heating way better! And they’re only 4 months old. DO NOT BUY THESE! YOU WILL REGRET IT!

My remote is frozen on 77 & will not allow me to press any buttons. I take the batteries out , put them back in & it’s the same. How do I hard reset or fix this ? I can’t even control the unit !

I need some help. I think I have an issue that other people are having. So the fan runs for about five minutes after it reaches its temperature. So when the heat pump is working and gets the house to 76°. The fan will stay running for five minutes after it has turned the heat off and it prematurely starts the whole cycle all over again because the cold air that it’s been blowing up for five minuteshas now triggered it to turn back on. Why in the world can we not adjust this? this is absolutely ridiculous.

dumbest thing ever that the fan continues to run even when compressor is off. Seems like it's creating a lot of wear and tear on the unit for nothing to keep the fan moving. Your indoor regular thermostat requires no fan, why does the Gree.... again, not a good design.

Is this outdoor unit refrigerant circuit compatible with three party evaporator coils that have a TEV. Also, with the 3.5 ton ODU work with the 4.0 ton Gree cabinet evaporator? I have a 3.5 ton capacity cooling load. And want to use the Gree for it cooling only abilities and standard gas furnace.

Do you have more videos based on electric heat strip setup? More and more people are cutting off their gas network connection and going 100% electric. Our Gree Flexx 3 ton w/3 ton Air Handler is set up with a 8 kW heat strip that runs as supplemental heat. It’s wired to run auxiliary heat strip in defrost but I find it just uses too much electricity with little benefit until it gets a lot colder. Because of that I have flipped off our breaker to the heat strip until we get -20°C temperatures again in Calgary. The single breaker set up was an absolute mess with our demand management device so we split the air handler and heat strip breakers. Now it runs like a top. Anyways, more all electric set up videos please!

Follow up...5ton handler was installed where 4ton unit should've been. Trying to dial down flow as much as possible due to Florida humidity. What does it mean when a speed is off the cfm chart at a given SP? .4 SP shows nothing below speed 3.

The the Flexx air handler have a default CFM for auxilary mode? Wondering about decreasing my CFM to match 3.5ton (eco mode on 4 ton condenser) but I don't want it to have problems when in aux heating mode. Thanks

If someone has problem connecting, take the following things in to consideration: your phone is 'too smart' - when you connect to the wifi of the module, it will have no internet access and so it will switch to you mobile phone subscription for internet access So take the following steps: turn of usage of mobile data (depending on phone type, go to settings, connections and then Mobile data usage. Also, while your at it, change auto connect to your standard wifi (if you have that)) Also make sure you have 2.4 gigaherz as several mentioned. You may have to change the encryption settings as well to WPA 2 Then do the steps again to connect to the module. This should be as described. Watch for the pop-ups requesting the connection to either module or your own wifi

So I have a Blueridge Mini Split 18k BTU. Alpine Heating and Air purchase. PO4 error. Trying to trace down a PCB outdoor type Board not through Alpine. By chance do you guys know a source for the board. I have read Midea makes the Blueridge brand for Alpine but Midea Does not list Alpine or Blueridge in their parts list, any suggestion will help.

I'm sorry but the app is simply PATHETIC, if I know that crap is the only way to control a Gree aerothermal machine I would have buy another brand. The app is so limited, poor, outdated, impossible to connect with Alexa that is like useless.

Question about the transitions What if the coil is the same size as the furnace,, do you need a transition?

Blower motor replacement for the win where the 4/5 ton Flexx air handler shuts down and needs a breaker reset (double blink code on the indoor board). Reference the Gree bulletin regarding blower motor voltage issues for serial numbers affected.

Where is the smart controller you mention. This is not a variable speed motor and should not be advertised as such until paired with the smart controller.

I’ve always been told no oil or nylog on the threads, only on the flare itself. Oil on the threads changes torque value resulting in inaccurate torque readings. Can you share thoughts?

I have a gree flexx 3 ton 2 years old, and it hasn't been working for over a month. I've had 3 hvac people look at it just to tell me they don't know and one wants to change the whole system for $6000. Of course they all win since they get $80 for not knowing. I would never get such a system again. If you are located in south east Florida please let me know. 2 circuit boards have been replaced so far and the inside unit is working. I will try to find someone to maybe just replace the outdoor unit. This is so distressing since Gemaire will not give you any names as to who would know how to fix it. Also it shows an H6 code. Pulling my hair out. I'm getting ready to just pull this 2yr old system and put it to the side of the road.

We just had our 3 ton Gree Flexx installed with a 3 ton Air Handler and an 8 kW heat strip as supplemental heat in Calgary, AB. The installer put in a fresh air damper that is supposed to open when heat is called. Our Ecobee/beestat information shows CO2 rising in the evening into the 1600 ppm range from 600-700 range when heat is called at -20°C temperatures. Is this normal or a sign of a bad install?

@GREEcomfort What’s the difference between the 4 ton and 5 ton air handlers other than model number? All parts seem identical, motor, coil, etc. And also, does each air handler have 8 or 16 speed settings? Meaning can you use the 4 ton switch settings on a 5 ton air handler if everything else is the same?

Is the compressormotor basicly a 3 phase AC motor (with a variable frequency drive) or is it a BLDC permanent magnet motor, which also needs a three phase voltage to run
