why not just split the grommet halfway and slide it over the wire once you push the relay through the hole. you can follow up with some silicone sealant to prevent water ingress at the trunk. Do the same for the firewall grommet. Much better than cutting wires! Also a dab of dielectric grease to keep the connections dry and clean wouldnt hurt especially if you are going trail driving.

We provide a solution so a customer does not have to drill through their roof. There is the possibility that the roof could leak afterwards, and we would hate for our customers to go through a situation like that. If you wanted to drill through the roof, you can still use this harness, you would simply tuck the extra wire up into the headliner.

What's really funny is seeing a KL built up like this (awesome), knowing full well it will have to have the lower balljoints replaced every 6 months if it actually hits the trail. I know, because I own one.

Any concerns about rust on the bottom of the strut where you removed the paint to make it easier to fit in the knuckle?

We have not seen any issues with rust due to the fact 99.9% of the installs will have white lithium grease put onto the strut to help slide it into position into the knuckle and that grease access a barrier on top of that the strut clamps down around that wall of the street, and prevents antioxidation.

I have a 2021 Trail hawk I want to put a 2" lift so I can put a 32' tire I don't have any exp. with lift kits I live in Baja California so the roads out here are sandy wash board sometimes water crossing creek beds I need a little more clearance I want something that isn't going to cause other problems Thank great video

What's the largest tire size you can run with just a 2" or 3" lift?

With just a 2” and 3” is 30.5”. If you don’t mind trimming, you can go up to a 32” with those lifts.

I have a 2020 Jeep Cherokee TrailHawk. I just got the MFC 2” lift kit and will be installed next week. My kit came with the RWCK. I believe I need to install the RWCK if I want to add bigger tires. What’s the max tire size I can use?

30.5” and no need to modify anything. Up to 32” if you don’t mind modifying the pinch welds and liners

Hey Jesse! I've got a 2017 KL trail hawk and was just wondering what you think I could do to it to make it the most capable off-road and what you would recommend? Ive seen online that sometimes a 3 inch lift may be too hard on the CV axels due to the angle, I was wondering if the Sub frame drop would help combat this or do you think I should stick to a 2.5 inch lift or maybe even 2? Additionally, would I be able to run Fox long travel suspension In the rear and still be able to remove my front sway bar only?

This is the wrong way to do this. You should not grind off pinch welded flanges. You are weakening the chassis by doing that. All you do is fold them over flat with a hammer, there's no grinder involved
