Really? I'm the exact opposite. All she wants is for her niece to be alive and I would suspect she just wants peace. She is doing what she thinks will get peace (stabbing Klaus). I really feel sorry for her - everyone is working against her. The vampires and even the other witches are trying to start war when she just wants to stay out of it and be happy with her niece. None of this is her fault, even though she blamed herself because of her lack of ability to see what she could not winds up being her downfall. She blamed herself for not taking Monique away from the witches a long time ago because if she did, none of this would’ve happen. She did everything to keep the peace between the witches and the vampires, but everyone wants war, not her and now she died for it because she refused to join the war between them. I feel bad for Sophie, she’s like the only smart character on this show

Sophie is pretty much the only character on this show other than Kieran and maybe Elijah who's both a good person and not an idiot. I can't believe Monique was such a bitch though.

@@jmitchell011 I must disagree. I understand Sophie wants peace but you’re in the middle of a war. One side clearly has an advantage and suppresses the others, big time. Leaving clearly wasn’t an option, and it wasn’t like she didn’t know what was going on. She was literally sleeping with the enemy and that gave him a bigger advantage over not just the witches but the werewolves. Sophie was raised it in, she knew the history.

@@Thechimeradragon-xc9tq she chose the best way to stay alive which is leaving, she didn’t ask for any of this. Nobody fought for those girls unlike Sophie and Marcel. She already knew the Mikaelsons were going to win the war and if she sided with the witches she was going to die anyways by them for betraying them

She was trying to make up for a past mistake like completely the harvest, get monique out of town so she can have a normal teenage life, let the vampires and witches run the city as partners. Notice how things got worse after she died as she was the only one trying to make amends
