Why does the RTX card generally utilize less VRAM and RAM than the Radeon card? Some use more but the majority use less. Why is that?

Considering that dx12 was used in most of the games seen here, it is still a pretty interesting test either way.

I use 2450mhz, 1180mv and 2350mhz vram, more lower consumption and just less performance in some especific games, in res 4 re i have basically same performance that you have but consumption about 110~135w And curve fan speed i use 33 in all but in the last i use 60, and temperatures i use 30-35-45-55-80, here even hot spot dont think about getting 70° lol, some heavy games can go a little more 70°, but all games that im playing today is a way lower than 70°

I bought a 1070 Ti in 2019, so I've had it for five years now. I mostly play League of Legends at 1440p and 144Hz. I can notice a drop in frame rates during big team fights, but overall, it’s still playable. I can also run AAA games on medium to low settings with over 60 FPS, which I’m pretty proud of. I found a huge sale with 25% off a Gigabyte 4060. Should I go for it? 😂

4060ti performs better with cooler temperature, quieter and also less power usage

I have seen rtx 4060 running core clock speeds at 3 ghz no sweat and performance was amazing

I regret getting the 5700 xt.. that thing heats up like crazy. have to undervolt the gpu to be around 65-75 degrees.. otherwise it flies up to 90+ and the fans go crazy.. too bad it was at the time there were no other options in the stores.. was originally going for 2070 super.

Les recomiendo la rx 5700xt mas que nada por el precio y en juegos de fsr esta nejor optimizado para AMD. Pero la 2070 tiene Una ventaja que es el modo Reitresing no se cómo se escribe pero hoy en día todos los juegos tienen mejores gráficos no veo necesario el modo iluminación de Nvidia

I'm still happy GTX 1060 owner but lately low graphic settings became genuinely unhealthy. I'm fine looking at mud, but muddy visuals are begging for eye condition. They cheap out on art style with tech, bouncing off a real-time calculated light 50 times to impress an imbecile who wouldn't notice difference without comparing it to previous gen. Everyone fake as fuck, increasing each setting to ultra one by one without knowing which does what. so here I am forced upgrading to a supply I didn't demand. They invent problems to sell their solutions. That DLSS is going to be standard, and games will be optimised accordingly. You will stare at enlarged %75 resolution that's less runny than your mom's coochie and say "hah, smoother than %50".

For anyone curious, to my knowledge the 2070 is pretty much equivalent to what the base PS5 has running inside it.

Thing is, as long as you don't use more powerful gpu than an rtx4070 (price/ performance wise), ryzen 5600 is the way to go. As soon as you step up, cpu wise, you're better of getting a new gpu as well.

Im changing to a more efficient small form factor pc from a larger more power hungry pc and the 4060 low profile is my only real option at this point but its nice to know itll outperform my old 2070 and use significantly less power.
