Memories 😃 We lived in York, before emigrating from the Uk. It's such a beautiful, Historic City and we loved it. Especially at Christmas, with the various themed Markets. Just be aware, it gets VERY busy as coach loads of people arrive. ALWAYS pre-book, to dine in Restaurants, at this time of year. Otherwise, it's almost impossible to get into anywhere to eat. Hope this helps. The blue tree lights, and beautiful old buildings, brought back so many memories of previous Christmas'. I enjoyed this Video. Very well done. Thank you

It was horrendously busy yesterday. York was pretty much at a standstill; however, York is so beautiful at Christmas so I understand why it's so busy. I hope you're enjoying your adventure out of the UK. Thank you for watching. 😊🎄

@@jacqueline8559 My mum grew up in Australia and came here for a holiday at 16, she met my dad, fell in love and stayed here in the UK. I absolutely love Europe for the culture and architecture. I could never imagine a hot Christmas on the beach (my mum's stories of her Christmas' growing up).

Went a couple of years ago and it was food & drink & about 3 makers stalls. Could have been much better but allegedly lots of traditional traders from abroad have stopped coming after Brexit

They're selling an array of items such as clothing, scarves, Christmas ornaments, decorations, handmade crafts and lots of different food and drink stalls. 😊

We emigrated from beautiful Historic York, with it's 12 th Century buildings and lovely Churches, to go to Australia. That was 20 years ago, It was Ok. We loved the sun, and hated the Healthcare system we'd moved to work in. We eventually moved, after 6 years, as I missed the History and different Cultures of Europe. Being able to easily travel from one close Country to another. Food, wines, language, culture, different people. I got bored, basically . We worked in STUNNING New Zealand for 4 years, for the life experience, which we can never regret. I never could adapt to a hot Christmas 😂. Now we live in Europe, with it's Medieval historic towns and cobbled Streets. And dark, cold ( ish) Christmas' . We've been very blessed. Happy Australian Christmas! ☀️
