Bill Walton 1st Class Human Being! The absolute Joy on Bills face / shaking his bones (which everyone could see because his head & shoulders were above everybody else), as the 1st Note played by the Grateful Dead was priceless....Sadley, Knock Knock on heaven's door has a new resident.... Bill Walton, thanks for sharing your smile w/ all of your tie-dye friends ...RIP Father Time

John mayer sounds great. Never a jerry garcia but he is a great singer and his guitar playing is amazing. Best show ever.
@bodhiheeren7 ай бұрын
That's what I like about Mayer and Deadco.. That he is not a Jerry clone and not trying to be but a great musician in his own right.

Where's Phil Lesh?
@Mrdoodiehead0077 ай бұрын
Probably at home. He's done touring. He plays out locally but if you wanna hear box of rain you're gonna go to his hood ✌️

@@Mrdoodiehead007 That's a shame. Oteil is great, but Phil had his own vibe that was a big part of the Dead's sound.
@Mrdoodiehead0077 ай бұрын
Yeah, Oteil ain't no Phil. Phil Was part of the vibe! Those guys gave up so much of their lives to touring, somehow they've managed to get alot if years under their belts. That's gotta get old and not fun anymore. Lucky for us, there's some fantastic music out there if you look for it!

This edifice dwarfs the band and infantilizes the audience. Back in the day we had the wherewithal to have our own hallucinations.

I've always enjoyed how they embraced technology w/an adventurous spirit. To me, this is another bend in that ever-shifting road. Peace.

Were you too stoned to remember the drum space light shows? Not trying to be rude, but lights at Dead shows were a thing in the 80's. Can't speak to before that as I was too young to go in the 70's.

LOVE the visuals for Knocking On Heaven's Door. I can't imagine how cool this must have been in person. It gave me chills, particularly towards the end. As it was zooming in to the City, I felt a longing to be there, thought of all the great times so many have had there, and of all those suffering on the streets today who are literally knocking on heaven's door.

Thank you for sharing this! Absolutely stunning. Cant get over the negative comments, but shouldnt be suprised these days. Its a new, creative medium. The band is embracing it. Dont like it? Dont go. I wish I could. ✌️

The dead started doing shows in the 1960's era w/ light shows. Then bill graham looked to save money, so he stopped hiring the light shows. This is just a money grab and soulless

Tiskita is a truly great place. I volunteered with a sea turtle rescue about 15 years ago and stayed there for 12 days. It's the place I think of when I want to go to my "happy place" and I have been a lot of places. I hope to return soon before I get too old! I don't know if he is still there, but Luis was a great guide! (He was in the video on the beach)
