Curious that Panasonic says it’s a 5 cutting blades shaver but a look inside you only see two cutting blades. Any thoughts on that?

I have a problem with mine. After I cleaned it and reassembled the bades and screen properly, it now is making a loud noise. I tried the same procedure many times and it still does it. If you keep the screen top off, leaving the blades on, it is quiet and a soft sound. Does anyone have any suggestions why it is making the noise.

I have very very short and scarce stubble, medium to thin. The ARC 5 takes forever to cut compared to regular razors but i prefer it because the normal ones make me bleed a lot. The ARC I finally got the trick to a fast and closer shave: very simple, you have to press pretty hard against the skin, specially if you have short facial hair like me. That and a preshave, oil and then wet shave but with the latter be careful, you may bleed a bit

So what features exactly make this a good option for your clients as an occupational therapist? You make a point to say this but give no specific connections. It's fine if you are simply reviewing it from your point of view as a man who shaves but what would be the reasons you would recommend this to your clients?

Thanks for the excellent question Michelle! I'm always looking for a product that's easy to use, is effective at its primary mission, and seems durable/uses quality parts. Being able to hold and manipulate this shaver by someone with upper extremity weakness was a consideration. I felt as though it was easy to grip and manuever. This device does have a few extra settings to navigate, thereby adding an additional layer of complexity for someone with cognitive impairment. While this shaver is more on the expensive side as are its replacement heads, its overall value convinces me that it's worth recommending and many people seem to agree and rate it highly.

I would suggest buying replacement blades when you buy the razor. As you switch over to the already purchased teplacent blade, buy another one then so you will already have a replacement when the one you just put in wears out

I bought mine a few years ago and actually haven't used it very much. I felt even back then that it didn't cut as well as I wanted. I do make the mistake a lot of times using it as a lawn mower going through a thick growth of hair. The one complaint I have is the trimmer part seems to collapse compared to the one in your video which seems to lock in place.

I am extremely happy with the Panasonic Arc5. I noticed that there is an updated version of the Arc5 but I purchased this one on Amazon because of all the positive reviews. …do you know if the newer version Arc5 is better than this one? Just curious. …just noticed the latest version also moves in one more extra direction…from the reviews this version is just as good as the latest model. 😎🖤

From what I seen by people online the newer versions to the arch 5 are not as good as this version I can believe it actually cos Bruan newer version of series 7 is a downgrade from the original that many have said .i own the bruan series 9 pro am deciding wether to get this arch 5 but its hard to find with a cleaning station .or the arch 6 .
@Shadowx011
@Shadowx011 9 ай бұрын
@@trojanx7723 with the Arc 5…no cleaning station is needed…simply take the top razor off and put it in the sink…you can use some kind of soap but water works perfectly to clean it…I then use a small amount of oil designed for razors afterwards.

I recently bought the Arc 5 and love it…I just do not understand why there are only 2 inner blades when there are 5 blades on the outer foil? …are there electric gear motors that make the remaining blades move? Update: I got off my lazy butt and simply looked at the shaver and it is so simple to how it works. ☺️

I have a very thick coarse beard and it gets just as close as a regular razor…but not lower down on my neck…I simply finish that part off with a regular razor it takes about 10 seconds. I purchased this as I have sensitive skin and hate having to wait 3 days to shave again where I can use this 7 days a week…this is going to save me alot of money on buying razor blades.

Any tips on how to get a great face shave? I have used the Arc 6 for two wet shaves so far and it misses face hairs. It is excellent for shaving my head bald, but my Braun Series 9 catches most of those hairs, but not as close a shave. I am considering returning the Arc 6 if it doesn't improve in the next two weeks and just get a Arc 5. I love the close cut on a bald head.

Good information except for the "give just a few choices" part. When someone does that to me it really ticks me off because it feels like they're trying to control me and coerce/manipulate me and define my parameters for me. I'd rather be asked questions like "Where would you like to go shopping?" or "What would you like for lunch?" or if I don't know all the choices I'd rather see a list and choose from them all because if somebody else picks only 2 I might not like either of them. I had a "friend" who used to do this and it was not for my benefit but more her own convenience if she didn't feel like going to certain places for instance when we did our grocery shopping together. Needless to say, she is no longer in my life.
@SpolarEffect
@SpolarEffect 8 жыл бұрын
You make a great point! Using only a couple of choices can backfire depending on the person's age. Personally, I enjoy having multiple choices to pick from. When I go shopping with a friend, we usually pick a few places from a list. If I'm shopping online for computer accessories, I like to compare multiple products before I settle on one. In other situations, I find many choices less appealing. I use choices very differently with children than adults. For a 6 year old with autism whom struggles staying focused and listening, using 2-3 choices can be very effective in getting them to be productive and content. With an 18 year old with autism, I might ask things like "what game would you like to play now" or "what dinner recipe would you prefer to make tonight". If the adult struggles deciding I gently guide him or her with suggestions.
