I dont have that figure… the older Mcfarlane figures were not meant to be disassembled… i dont have a new version of it

I’m sure it will come out great. I would suggest the spinmaster Batman forever Batman to light up as a custom. I got one and it just needs to be lit ip. It has the translucent blue plastic. They are only $20 each so affordable.

Great video! I love instructional vids on painting. It's a new hobby that I picked up and it's very relaxing (when it goes right). What are your thoughts on brush vs. air sprayer? I see you use both but sprayer for face. Is that a superior method vs. Brush?

Its just a method preference… i just lay down the base skin tones.. then finish with a brush for details and texture-- you need both… its still time consuming… using only a brush can leave brush stroked or leave very thick costs of paint. Thanks for watching

@InkDropCustoms UPDATE: Hoy he realizado las marcas, quedan de maravilla, un plumón color plateado de punta fina ayuda a darle un efecto brutal. Estoy pensando en poner hilos de sangre usando rojo coagulado de Green Stuff World y una pluma de punta fina. Muchas gracias por toda la ayuda!

Its original sculpt I just transferred it to a new body… the old one was deteriorating

Hi. I’m looking to do a custom on the Iron Monger buck (the Detroit Steel figure to be exact). Can you please tell me if the torso can be removed from the waist simply with heat and by pulling, or will I have to crack something open? Thanks so much.

Not on my figure… its a giant ball joint-the ball has facets… its not smooth and its really thick… requiring lots of hot water repeatedly and wedging it a little at a time… I only made one …. Very challenging …. Have fun

Used acetone to remove the black outline… the red is too difficult… acetone melts plastic… i just painted white over it - then my dark brown…eyes are still a pain to paint

@@arcticreviews i dont I have had that issue but if the sculpt isn’t fitting around the neck its best to get a larger sculpt… unless the neck is a separate piece then you can modify by dremeling the neck or using a different replacement… that can then create proportional issues

Did you paint the figure a different color blue than what the cape came with? You didn’t show us any details there and the final shots are hard to see…

These are just ideas… i only added shading…. I have many videos on painting… The cape material is a different blue… you can use which ever color is available at the fabric store that is closest to the one needed… lots of techniques are repeated in several videos , its all in the artist eye..
