I love this song. This whole thing used to be a full concert under his 1978 concert recordings but for some reason they pulled it a couple of weeks ago and I was very sad. But then I found this one and I'm a happy gal again LOL

My first 3 Clapton concerts were the LA Forum 8/14/75, the LA Forum 11/22/76 (4 days before the Last Waltz), and this gig that sold out so quickly I had to dig deep for $17.50 a ticket from an agency, quite a lot back then. I still regard EC's Badge solo here as the best of all time in the 50 years playing it live since the Rainbow Concert. Thoroughly in the zone and finishes it off superbly. Cheers!

It's a nice live version. I do wish Marcy Levy was a bit more audible all the way through. The album version has blown me away since day 1. I admit that my listening pleasure was "enhanced" that night decades ago, but it was truly special. This one & Peaches And Diesel just sent me over the moon. No one seemed to notice that I kept on playing those two songs for 30 minutes at least! The first time I heard "Let It Grow", I painted the title on my bedroom door. I was 16. When he pulls out the emotional stuff, wow!
