It’s kinda funny that Shinano is the only Yamato Class that have the name on the rear end. Not even Musashi have them. CV is WeeGee love child afterall. Seriously WeeGee, make Musashi and Yamato have the name on the rear. Yamato is no longer represeted as a Class of her anymore. We got all Yamato class. This is zero excuses. Not to mentioned Yamato Model is the late war Yamato design which means Yamato is Yamato not represent as Class of her own. So WeeGee no Excuses. It’s not that hard to put the name on the rear end of the ship. You guys are just bunch of Lazy Eastern Europeans.

Its still actually sad that the wreck of the Shinano wasn't discovered yet, both of her sisterships were found, one being in the Sibuyan Sea, one being in Kyushu. Just sad Shinano wasn't found yet...poor ship suffered alot if damage thanks to Archerfish.

IIRC the Japanese government has said that they don't want people looking for the Shinano because they don't want it becoming a tourist attraction like what happened the Titanic and many other famous shipwrecks. Especially since people stealing pieces of WW2 shipwrecks is an increasingly common problem.

@@bradleyq.6365 We know where she is, but it is difficult to search because she is in the middle of the Nankai Trough and deep. Because of that and the pressure, it's probably in such a shape that it's hard to believe it's a ship. Interestingly, Shinano's last voyage was also equipped with Ohka.

⁠@@弥栄-h1b桜花が搭載されていた記録はないのですがどこの情報ですか？(そもそも桜花は航空機というより有人ロケットに近いので自力での離発着機能はない) 信濃は大戦末期に進水、最低限の艤装工事を終え横須賀基地から呉軍港に移動、そこで最終艤装工事を終える予定でしたが、静岡県沖の移動中に米潜水艦に撃沈されました。撃沈時点では「船としての最低限の機能」を維持する為の工事しか終わっていなかったので艦載機はおろか、呉で取り付け予定だった武装すら搭載されていませんでした。

@@ワァア確か乗組員の証言で、搭載されていたと言うより最後の航行の呉から輸送のため載せられてました。空母雲龍にも乗せられてましたが敵潜水艦により沈没。
