Kajal Gala, at 0:57 in the video, I mistakenly clicked anywhere in the working area aside the shape that's the reason you don't see the format menu open. That shouldn't be a problem at all. Now to see the formatting tools for the shape, please click the shape, on the menu bar locate the 'format' menu, click it. And there you go! The formatting tools for the shape is now open. Find the height and width of the shape in the top-right corner. You can also click the small 'dialog box launcher' below it to find more about the shape. Hope this helped.

@BossMayneCresh thanks for the comment. Well I don't know the kind of laptop and Photoshop version you have. But the issue could be that you are running a later version on a lower spec PC. If this is the case, then you need to either downgrade the version of Photoshop or get a high spec PC. By the way I use HP envy x360 i7 laptop.
