I really love the pictures you used with this one. I have found it is easier to climb when you have sisters to help you.❤❤ Let us climb Jacob's Ladder and our own Ladders together.😊

So beautiful. A House is not a Home is definitely the appropriate song to go along with this theme. Thank you for enlightening me to Martha's Vinyard and the heritage behind it.

Glad you enjoyed it! How about the couple married ALL those years! Maybe they are now too old to remember they are even married to each other... maybe that is really the secret:)

So good to hear these songs again. This was one of my favorite groups growing up. I was saddened by the loss of Karen Carpentar. Thankfully her music is carried on thru VJazzy

Yes, I feel they should have won more grammy awards and gotten more recognition. But because their sound was so different, I do think non-musicians did not understand their musical talents and the impact they had on music of the 70's and 80's. In retrospect they did receive awards after her death and well into the 90's and the 2000's.

Valerie "VJazzy" Farmer performing Romantic Classics: I Can't Help Falling in Love with You, Il Postino (The Postman's Theme) and Be My Love (this one with Sadie "Babe" Molock). This eye catch video is a tribute to Wedding Cakes. You will be amazed and dazzled by these cakes. I had the honor and pleasure of recording music with mama. The last song in this medley "Be My Love", is one such song. Although retired, every day for 4 years, between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm we would go to work in what we called our office (the living room with our pianos) and play and often record together. What a wonderful way for me to start my retirement!

Music performed by Sadie "Babe" Molock 2020. Classical Arrangement of this beautiful anthem to America with stunning pictures of Autumn across America. Photos: Pixaby and Bing Images. It just goes to show, that even a patriotic song, not traditionally thought of as listening music, can be so, if played as a classical number.

Valerie “VJazzy” Farmer performing Sicilienne, Adagio Cantible - Pathetique and O Mio Babbino Caro, with eye catching images and special effects. This video is a tribute to Opera, a most visual form of Classical Music. This tribute is to famous Black Opera Singers (yes there are many) and stunningly amazing Opera Houses. When I was in the 6th Grade, my teacher wanted to take us to the Lyric Theatre to see an Opera (La Traviata). I asked mama could I go, not only did she say yes, but she bought me a new pink dress with matching gloves and a pair of Opera glasses for the occasion, since one must dress up to attend an Opera. I enjoyed it so much that I still am a listener and watcher of Opera on PBS. One other fond memory is mama playing the piano accompanying her high school friend and our godmother Carol Taylor as she sang Operatic numbers.

This video includes In the Hall of the Lion King and Can Can with eye catching fun images and special effects that will enchant children and the young at heart. These are two vintaged classical pieces, that I have combined to form a tribute to Disney Fairy Tale Movies and Amazing Castles (the stuff that fairy tales are made of).

This was the classic example of mama's talent. She played this song flawlessly for 70 or more years. This and Sweet Georgia Brown, were her warmup exercise that she did every day before taking on her daily practice. I always had her play this when my friends would come to the house. I guess I did it to brag about how talented she was. She also has a jazz arrangement, of this that I will include later in this list

This is a medley of popular vintaged classical music to include: Rhapsody on a Theme from Paganini (Rachmaninoff), Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring (Bach), Cannon in D Major (Pachelbel), Etude in F Major (Chopin), Symphony No. 6 (Beethoven). I can remember just lying on the living room floor listening to her play these songs on the piano or on the record player. We often played Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring, Cannon in D Major and Moonlight Sonata together. My only regret is that we never recorded any of the classical music we played together, that was my next project for us.

These two contemporary classical pieces composed by the contemporary French Jazz/Classical composer Michel Legrand brought classical music into movie themes. Mama enjoyed watching KZbin videos of Michel Legrand playing the piano. We played many of his songs together, I am sure I have created a few videos with us playing his songs.

A contemporary classic that merges Jazz and Classical music. Mama loved to watch KZbin videos of the younger pianist playing this song. It is amazing that mama played this song for 75 years. Through the years she began to forget parts of it, but that did not stop her. She played this song every day, to keep in practice. I can still remember the beautiful BLUE floral dress that she wore when she played this song at one of the U.S. Postal Service Annual Employee Picnics at Gwynn Oak Park. This is the dress in the picture that we had blown up of her playing the piano.

These are two vintaged classical pieces, with Fur Elise being introduced to kids by being merged with Jazz and included in Charlie Brown movies. Mama loved the Charlie Brown music composed and performed by Vince Guaraldi. We often played the Charlie Brown songs together, especially Christmas Time Is Here, Pebble Beach and Skating.

This is a vintaged classical piece that has morphed into a contemporary classical piece with its inclusion in the Ocean's Eleven Film as the Fountain Theme. When this movie came out and I saw it had this song as the ending theme with the fountains, I showed that part of the movie to mama. She was not in her chair long, she got up and started playing along with the song. I am not sure she ever got to see the fountains.
