The drone view is outstanding! I was hoping to see the south side of the monolith to see the trail built by Biddle but there is only a tiny view of it in this video. For those of us who cannot do the hiking, this is a great resource to explain the reason why people want to climb an 800-foot high rock: for the view! Also to avoid acrophobic!

North Korea no comparison at all. I grew up hiking, climbing every mountain and trail on both side of the river. Really appriciate the drone shots though. Never would have believed all those tall tress on top, been a few year since I was up there. Been traveling around the last for the last 40 years, just having a look around. Have a good one and thanks for the video, think I'll go do the rock again on Oct. 2nd my 71st birthday. My best time making the climb was 12 minutes, that was with a six pack of beer on my back.

At 2minutes and 20 seconds the blue roof house is where I lived. A 16100square foot home. On the south side Isa cave that was blasted with explosives so the rock could be used as a jetty at the south side of the Columbia Rivers mouth

Just flew mine there also, and the official on the beach said it was fine to within a 1000' of the nesting birds.

What was the wind like? I was out there recently with my Chroma but didn't want to risk it with the wind. I'm still new and want to develop skills more.
