The team of Garnett Mimms, Sam Bell, and Jerry Ragovoy gave us some great early 60's Philly soul. Great songwriter in his own right and underrated. Sam Bell. Jerry Ragovoy should be in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

So nice to hear this song. I'm reminded of days of wonder & innocence, I'm 79. When I bought the Ms Octavia Spencer produced movie, Green Book l remembered Mr. Don Shirley's Trio MUSIC again. ....I watched Green Book over & over & over. It's a good thing l wasn't at the theater, I'd need my blankets, grooming kit, etc. ....but being at home l just kept pushing ▶️, snoozing, waking up, dancing, crying AND MOST OF ALL RELATING TO THE TRAUMA OF THE DEEP SOUTH Racists practices. The friendship of Don &Tony was wonderful., Bridging the gap that lead to the Italian view of the NEGRO AS BEING HUMAN ALSO.!!!! MANY THANKS TO MS OCTAVIA SPENCER FOR BRINGING MR SHIRLEY'S LIFE AND TIMES TO US ...... FROM LIFE'S TIME MACHINE.💝💖💝

Sounds like the orchestra is trying to drown out Anthony and his Imperials at times.

You’re the same guy that you were many years ago You never change, you’ll be the same forever more Now if you don’t stop mistreating me, I’ll have to put you down You give me pain you’ll never change you’ll be the same forever more You go out every night and you leave me blue you know you do And I know you, you’ll do the same tomorrow night too You tell the same lies that you told when we first met And sleep at night and you don’t bite you never change Now if you don’t stop mistreating me I’ll have to put you down You give me pain you’ll never change you’ll be the same forever more You go out every night into the town But you never never never never here when I want you around ..
