This video was a life saver for me

I've been using the Screen Recorder for several years, and it's perfect. However, it's a nightmare to do some very basic things, even things for which there are explicit instructions. For example, the instructions for removing Audio from a video, is to click the Audio button, then UnCheck "Keep original audio". If you Play that, before clicking Done - sure enough, the audio is gone. But if you click Done, and then export the video, it still has the damn audio in it. And yes, I've tried to contact support on this. Also, for some unknown reason, there's a background - meaning, some magnified faded image on the Left and Right of the main video, in every video that gets exported. There doesn't seem to be any way of getting rid of it. To get around the audio and background problems, I do most of the editing and trimming in the Ice Cream Video Editor, export, then play the video in a standard video player, but run a different screen recorder while it's playing, turning off audio and recording only the clear part of the screen, not the magnified part. Then I use the output of that for sharing.

In the recent version 3.20 I sometimes get a glitch where a video that was previously exported gets corrupted (rendering it unplayable) after I export a video that came after that affected one, whereas it was fine minutes before. What could be the cause?

VLC can support converting WebM to MP4 for free. Well, now I using DumboFab video converter. I tried and sampled many others including VLC, Handbarke and none were both straight forward AND accurate- particularly with regard to synchronizing audio with the video. To convert WebM to MP4 or any video conversion, you can have a try.

Yes, it looks lovely online, but it's hell in real life. I would have paid more than $20 to not go through the disappointment and stress that I experienced that day. Buy this product only if you want to have a mental breakdown.
