Brit - my friend Brent connected me to your videos. I watched all 32 of them in 3 days. You are pure Grace, Courage and Inspiration. Your story is powerful and palpable. I am a survivor of sexual abuse, and a fellow energy worker. I have the consummate respect for you. I honor you for all you have experienced, all you have survived and for opening your heart and soul to share these difficult stories with us. I am blessed by your presence in this world. I have been repeatedly brought to tears. Thank you so much.

Just got out of incarceration in california in september of 2023. Good for you for being able to share your story. Although i dont have anybody that i feel comfortable opening up to, i could see how it would feel good and help bring closure being able to talk bout things i went through during my time.

I want you to try your best to be empowered. You have a story to tell. Not only for your healing but to help someone else heal. I pray you will meet a person that gives you the safe space you deserve in order to share your experiences. Thank you for watching and commenting.

Might you number the videos, since the titles don’t necessarily make clear where the episode is in the saga? I think it might be helpful. Thanks for sharing your story 🙏 I’m sorry for all the abuse you’ve endured. You have a great voice for this project. Hope it is helping you heal. 💜

Thank you for this great advice. I am numbering them now. All of your comments are encouraging and I greatly appreciate it. And yes, speaking about this buried story is helping me heal :)

Btw, I think it’s a good (if disturbing) story 👍Hope you’re free and doing well!

Hi Brit, I’m a bit confused. Would you explain more clearly the history of your GA fraud warrant? It seems like you and your grandmother had a joint account, which you got accused of emptying? Couldn’t this all be straightened out by your dad and the lawyer in GA, assuming it was some sort of false accusation? It’s a horrific, intriguing, but confusing story. Maybe I missed something? Are you out of prison and free to live your life in GA? If you were falsely accused, who did that and why? Did you go to Mexico knowing you had a warrant in the U.S.?
@thewhalesbelly10 ай бұрын
Thanks for asking. It took right at four years and ten thousand dollars for an attorney. My grandmother has dementia which is sad that they were able to pressure her into pressing charges. I did not have a warrant when I left the country . It was issued a month after being there. So I had no idea what was going on when I tried to come back into the US. I haven't shared this story with one person in my life who hasn't responded any different than you are. As I continue to tell more I will get into what happens in the end. I am free from everything and that's why I am sharing my story I spent three years writing.

Was there covid restrictions then?

Covid had just begun. This was in February and March of 2020. They had stopped physical visits, church and activities the last week I was there.

This has nothing to do with “better”choices. It has to do with people who have evil intentions and God using what someone did to harm me and creating a spiritual connection that will continue to guide me towards the journey I’m put on earth to complete. All other comments and opinions have been very positive and inspiring. That’s where I place my energy and focus.

I'm familiar with starving in jails an prisons, fights, ppl being taken advantage of, sadness, loneliness but most importantly the abuse and corruption of guards and staff. Through my faith in GOD an Christ I've been sober 9 yrs and out of trouble. I'm not a Christian per say but I am a believer. GOD BLESS

@@RubenAguilar-hp1qi I really appreciate you taking the time to share a part of your story with me. Getting other inmates to reply with a similar experience makes my heart smile! Because I know without a doubt, sharing this with others, heals us and heals those who can relate. God is all powerful and our creator. When he said “write your story just like it happened” that’s what I did. We shall see what comes of it. Take care. And realize you’re always loved, forgiven and human. And that no one deserves to be dehumanized. Much love!

I really appreciate you sharing your experience with food as well. Also, thanks for bringing my attention to what I was doing in Mexico at the border. I am going to make a quick video adding this part of my journey. I was on a women’s writing retreat.

I remember the aching hunger. You can lick every tray clean and still be starving. You're hungry all the time, even after every meal. Btw.... why were you at the border when you got picked up?
