Beautiful video! On a recent visit I hiked the chain lakes loop. I’ve heard of the Lake Ann Trail but didn’t realize it had such wide open views including of Kulshan.

Actually, the cabin was a wonderful find, a place to get out of the rain for the rest of the day. We actually slept pretty soundly that night, camped behind the cabin, at the start of the wolf trail. I did paddle across the bay at midnight to make sure our Boston Whaler's anchor was holding at high tide. The high tide that night was almost 11' higher than low tide. The yard area in front of the cabin was all underwater at midnight. Please be sure to subscribe, and comment. and like.

The Wild Pacific Trail is short, with stunning scenery. We'd highly recommend it if you're near Tofino or Ucluelet. great going two centuries of utter abuse and little appreciation for the unique gem of the planet that is the Hawaiian islands. it appears that after all the struggle, the Lahaina waste water plant will release high nutrient content again onto Kahekili. Hawaii is such an abused gem. but lots of remnants remain, and you got em. Hopefully it will be restored for future generations. For now, people appear to have no clue as to the true value....life under water, the native flora and fauna. it's unique endowment. Not golf courses and ornamental invasives. maybe next time you go you film the great fields of finger coral and the massive mounding coral domes at Kahekili, or go to the Hosmer grove and make some long videos of all the native honeycreepers singing there. No one else has done that yet even more of a prize, but hard to access, the O'hia forests of the north shore of East Maui. I filmed this on a Canon Vixia HF 200 in 1080i HD. It does seem to shoot great quality and is compact and lightweight, which helps when hiking.
