The sensor should cost around 25-35 EUR as new aftermarket part. However, VW TDI engines often eat the wiring from the sensor to ECU and if you see MAP readings around 1600 mbar instead of expected value, the wiring is probably broken (or shorted) and ECU is mistaking temperature reading from the sensor as pressure. See video kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5zLm6hujqxqg9ksi=QrsBKRDS6z855uUY for an example.

Hello I have a vw passat cc 2.0 tdi 2009 I get these two codes p0238 p0113.the problem is I changed the sensor back to the same codes I took out on the computer. Thanks for help

Check the wiring because these engines are known to eat the wiring between the sensor and ECU. See video kzbin.info/www/bejne/m5zLm6hujqxqg9ksi=QrsBKRDS6z855uUY for a further explanation.

You don’t need to bleed the brakes when changing them out?

You only bleed them if any air gets in the brake lines so if you disconnect the brake lines at all

Your video was very informative. What kind of cleaner did you use? I found the sensor at FCP Euro for 27 dollars if I need to replace it.

Squeezed by hand at 2:52. When it's not enough for the new to fit I use a c-clamp to compress the cylinder.

There were no media coverage. Most likely they are afraid and don't want to promote this event. Also there were no Liberals, Concervatives, NDP and Green. Only PPC support this. That tells a lot. Guess who will get my vote.... God bless you all 🙏

@@projectswithpapa8530 thanks, look fwd to it, id really appreciate it if you could do videos of general maintenance beyond filters & oil changes for the vw passats such as spark plug replacement, gear oil chsnge, egr valve cleaning steps, break disks/pads replacement, duct/hose cleaning and anything that someone can easily do themselves. Keep up the good work & thankyou.

@@TikTok-fs4se I will do when it is required. For VW TDI engines the recommended frequency is 15K or 1 year. However if I do anything inbetween I would record it. Thanks for your interest
