Thank you for this post. It kept saying on the bottom and I didn't see it. I was so frustrated I was fixing to rip it off the wall. Glad I finally found your video.

Thanks a million!! My model is different and you don’t need to unscrew the cord to see the setup code up it’s basically in the same place.

Glad you found them helpful! I didn't record them, but rather downloaded them "just in case". Sure enough, the originals got taken down from KZbin, and even the website referred to in the videos went away. So, I'm glad these videos continue to live up here. Enjoy!

Hey Al, TJ here. I loved your J22 video set! I race J22s at the Canandaigua Yacht Club where there are 16 or 17 boats (I've lost recent count) and regularly have 12-14 boats out every Thursday night. The starting line is usually tight producing big regatta feel starts, and pack in 3 twice around races. It's awesome! I run the middle and trim. This week, both the Skipper and bow/tactician are out. I have a great Skipper to drive who has 50 years one design under his belt. I will do tactics with him. Our sub for the bow is a catamaran sailor who just bought a J22 (not sure of the number but I hear this boat won worlds twice under different skippers). He has little if any spinnaker experience so I forwarded all of your J22 handling vids. I also watched them and agree with everything. The boat I'm on is in first place by a hair, with 2 great boats gunning hard for use, as well as another 4 or 5 constantly "in the way". I call this group the A fleet. But the B fleet are no dogs and regularly pull of some top level finishes! We have an upcoming J22 regatta and you are invited. I'll even put you up if needed. www.sailcyc.com/raceevents.cfm?subpage=549764 Thanks again for the great videos and have a great season on the water. -TJ [email protected]
